This is not a fiction, just only one incident in Hunger Ride Challenge. A event which felt to the bottom of our hearts. We distributed lunch packets among poor people on the road sides. It gave a great pleasure to all of us, as we were able to give something to poor people for their hunger. Special thank to Leo Club of Gampaha Metro for

nominating us for the challenge. And we challenged Leo Club of Baddegama, Leo Club of Unavatuna Diamond Stars and Leo Club of Mahanama College for challenging us.

Hunger ride CHallenge

There are two trains which called as “A” and “B” place with a distance of 100kms, tete a tete in the same rail track. Suddenly both A and B stare to move with speeds of 20km/hr and 30km/hr respectively. At the same time a bird start to wing from A to B with speed of 50km/hr. When bird met train B it turn back and wing back to train A. In the same the bird is winging between A and B until both trains get clash each other. What is the distance the bird can fly before the moment of conflict of A and B?

‘Golden Netz’ is the Indoor Cricket Tournament which was being organized for Leos of Leo Multiple district 306 for the second time in Sri Lankan Leo history. It was proudly organized by Leo Club of University of Moratuwa - The Most Outstanding Leo Club in Sri Lanka in Leoistic year 2013/2014 together with other five most active Leo Clubs in Sri Lanka. Surely, this tournament was a new experience for Leos from all over the island. ‘Golden Netz’ is the unique Indoor Cricket tournament so far organized by any Leo club for Leos of Sri Lanka. It was held on 2nd of November 2014 from 9 am onwards at Fingara International Cricket Stadium, Boralesgamuwa. All the participants got the chance to experience world-class Indoor Cricket facilities throughout the tournament in an unique environment at Fingara premises. With this initiative of cricket recognition ‘Golden Netz’, it enabled youngsters

representing each and every corner of the island to experience this game in international standards while providing a fertile response for the rising demand of Indoor Cricket in the country.

jeewana yatHra 2014 Trincomalee is another area in northern province of Sri Lanka which was under the fear of terrorism for about 3 decades. This time the Leos decided to extend our helping hands towards the financially affected students in rural areas of Trincomalee. Jeewa-na Yathra was a Mega Multi-Service project. Other than enhancing the knowledge and qualities of students, building up relationships between nationalities,sharing different cultures with each other were another objectives achieved through Jeewana Yathra.Jeewana Yathra was consist of many project sub categories.

•Educational Seminars for O/L Examination.•Career Guidance for A/L Students and School Leavers.•Skills and leadership development for Prefects in the area.•Art Competition.•Books & Stationary Donations.•Medical Camp for primary school students. •Poster campaign on Nutritional needs.•Councelling Program for O/L students.•Drug Prevention awareness program.•A drug prevention and Personal development program for the officers at Navy base, Trincomalee.•Camp Fire for Leos.

This great service project was organized with the contribution of Leo Clubs of University of Moratuwa, Godigamuwa, Piliyandala, Madurawela, Polgasowita, Moragahahena, Ingiriya United, Rattanapitiya, Bandaragama Central, Katuwawala, Horana Midcity, Baddegama, Bulathsinhala of Leo District 306 A2. It was not only a huge experience,but also a great opportunity to enhace our fellowship among Leos of various Leo clubs…
