We are a fellowship of prayer. This is

one of IVCF s distinctives. We know

IVCF was born in a student prayer

meeting and we still believe that it will

move forward only on its knees.

Effective prayer might not look easy,

but for IVCF to be used by God

mightily, we need groups of people who

will live out the reality and power of

prayer.

IVCF Philippines today is ministering to sixty

one (61) high school and one hundred ten

(110) college campuses all over the Philippines

in nine regional Units. Currently there are 36

staff workers who are working in these

campuses.

through RVCF in Zambales. They have a newly

formed group called the Veterance . This group

will be serving as the frontline mission group of

RVCF. As we reach more college students in

Zambales, please continue to journey with us

through praying for our graduate volunteers

Robert Jay Aji Sarito, Crisanto Cris Ducos and

Manuel Bags Estrella. Aji and Cris will serve as

counselors for Kawayan Camp 2014 in April to

May. May this camp be also a space for growth

and spiritual renewal for them.

Northern Luzon Regional Unit

has campuses in Pangasinan,

Isabela, Zambales and Baguio

City where their

IV Home is located.

1. Last July 2013, Cy started to be a full-time staff based

in Lingayen, Pangasinan. We hope to re-establish our

Graduate and student ministry in Pangasinan Area.

Currently, we are praying for a more stable and

conducive location that can also be used as Staff

House and Center for IVCF Pangasinan. Cy is currently

living in a boarding house at Maniboc, Lingayen. Pray

with us, as we invite more ministry partners in

Pangasinan who will be willing to support the student

and graduate work through prayer and giving.

2. As we continue to pioneer Inter-School Christian

Fellowship (ISCF) ministry in Baguio and in the other

areas of Northern Luzon, with the support of nine (9)

ISCF Counselors, we plan to have an ISCF mini-camp in

April. Details of the camp are still in progress. We hope

to see and identify ten to fifteen (or more, God willing)

High School students who will be committed in joining

the camp and take the challenge to follow and serve

God. We pray that this camp will serve as a catalytic

event for our high school students who will be joining.

The camp also aims to cater to other High School

students outside Baguio like from Pangasinan area.

Pray with us to have an appropriate venue and date

for the camp. We also pray for parents permissions for

the students and more willing partners who would

love to help us in raising the P22,600.00 estimated

camp subsidy. Currently, we have three (3) pioneering

ISCF works namely in Baguio City National High

School (BCNHS), Pines City National High School

(PCNHS) and Parayao High School (Pangasinan).

3. We praise God for the developing student work in

Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU)

Praises:

1. Praise God for the meaningful Night of Prayer (NOP) in Iloilo (we participated in the National Day of Prayer and Solidarity),

continued meetings in Pascere (Leaders Council) and 2014 Welcome Bash. These were meetings filled with praises to God,

sharing of His goodness, and continued trust in Him as we

continue the journey set before us.

2. Praise God for continuing campus chapter meetings. After the holiday and a long break from school, student leaders were

again busy in trying to keep the ball rolling. New ministry

opportunity was born like the boarding house ministry in Capiz Area.

3. Thank God for Good Shepherd s Fold Academy s (GSFA)

Football Clinic Launching. Uniforms and sports materials were

donated by MEANS. ISCF counselors volunteered in training highschoolers in this sport and at the same time wholistic

coaching and mentoring happened.

in Sagay City in partnership with MEANS. Because of this project, students at Buenaventura Mahilum Elementary School

were able to hear God's word, fed with delicious and healthy food, and sent home with hygiene kit.

a reunion and homecoming of some graduates. It was also a

time of updating them of the ministry and of expressing their continued support to the movement. We thank God for Tony &

Praise

Praise God for the opportunity to facilitate Seventy (70) students from

Butuan City Comprehensive High School in their recollection day with the

theme Truth Encounter . We are blessed on how the Lord touched the

lives of the students. It s a fulfilled experience to see students accepting

the Lord Jesus.

Praise God for the students initiated to share bihon and bread with the

refugees of ASSCAT (Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and

Technology), Bunawan Agusan del Sur evacuation center last January 21,

2014. Also, through our partnership with OMF Philippines staff ate Jo

Fernandez, IVCF-CRU participated in the relief operations organized by

Taga-Butuan Kaw Kung (TBKK). TBKK is a humanitarian-friendship group

in Butuan City providing volunteer help to the needy while creating fun-

filled experiences. OMF Philippines sponsored the 6th day Pospas (special

Arozcaldo) feeding program and giving of candies to all refugees at two

evacuation centers in Butuan City Capitol (covered court and training

center). Truly, the Lord honors our desire to help out others even with the

little resources that we have and regardless of being flood survivors too.

We praise the Lord for witnessing such heroic acts along with TBKK and

OMF Philippines!

We thank God that through a church partner who lead the Care

Caravan -a relief operation group of Chinese Christian Churches. We will

be giving 300 packed relief goods for 300 Tribal families; whose houses

IVCF-Dagitab (PNU) Chapter was again intruded by unknown

individuals last January 28, 2014 while IVHomers, all are girls, were

asleep. No one was hurt and nothing was taken from them,

fortunately. But a knife was intentionally pierced in their door.

Speculations arose that they were just repeatedly threatened by

nearby tenants. The owner of the boarding house and the policemen

were already informed of the incidents and has inspected the area last

January 29. Please pray for immediate and rightful response from the

authorities and protection for our IVHomers.

Please pray for well coordination of care caravan members who will

1. We thank the Lord for Ate Di's work in the HR and the

turnover process to Rachel. There are a lot of things that

need to be in place. Please pray for Rachel as she

prepares for the Junior Staff Training, the staff meetings,

the Prayer Retreat (with Emma & Makoy) and the other

tidbits of the HR work.

2. We trust the Lord for how He is calling people to serve Him through the IVCF ministry. We praise Him for the staff team who faithfully serves in the field despite the difficulties. Help us pray for the recruitment of new staff this coming school year. Pray for wisdom and discernment. Pray, too, for those who are taking the call, that they be granted courage to join in the throng of men and women who have given their time, energy and lives in the service of the King through campus ministry. 3. Praise the Lord that many of the HR documents are now online. Still, there is no computer and printer for the HR s use. Help us pray for provision for these two items. These will greatly help the work of the HR in the files and printing of materials.
