iVOS LEVEL 1 Software Technology ServicesBy automatically learning its environments, and ignoring rain and other movements such as trees and bushes blowing in the wind, iVOS permits effective monitoring night and day in all types of weather (subject to available ambient light).
Incident detection and behavioural recognition capabilities are based on the study of objects in real-time environments, to meet specific salient surveillance requirements for populated and unpopulated open areas that generate random crimes. It measures and compares various parameters relating to the basic laws of physics, such as size, shape, time, speed, and location, and then applies decision rules based on local knowledge of the environment to recognize particular types of activity in particular areas.
Automated Day and Night Detection/Reaction
To achieve its excellent day and night detection performance and the quality of evidence required, Viseum Video Analytics Software uses wide contextual view cameras to the highest specification available for each remote site. These cameras detect activity just as well as the human eye in low light conditions, and combined with its disciplined automation in maintaining vigilance, this Video Analytics Software is well proven to detect activity in larger and further away areas than the human eye.
Matching the performance of its detection system, its fully automated reaction system uses the industry's highest specification PTZ cameras to automatically confirm incidents, and to maintain greater accuracy at distance providing consistent high quality close-up evidence.
Automated Target Selection (Pedestrian/Crowds or Vehicle/Traffic)
Developed through listening and watching many UK CCTV operators, by default this software uses a points system to select targets based on where they are and what they are doing. This means that if there are several activities meeting the same surveillance profile, the system will target the activity with the most points.
Where multiple events occur simultaneously, it can be instructed to switch the PTZ between events using this points system and the activities' location. This allows close up evidence to be captured of everything and has the added benefit of preventing diversion tactics.
Automated Optical PTZ Camera Zoom Control
Another key functionality of Viseum's Intelligent Virtual Operator Software is its ability to automatically meet regulates guidelines for zoom levels required for live identification of suspects and court evidence. The method of selecting the appropriate zoom level is easily customised to meet local operational policies or individual operator user requirements.
Manual PTZ Camera Control
Integrated into old legacy command control systems, or using Viseum's Graphical User interface (GUI), the PTZ Camera can be manually moved at any time. For rapid manned response, Viseum's advanced “Point and Go” functionality can be used to have the PTZ Camera go to wherever needed in just one click of the screen.
Proactive Alert Options
User specified triggers are set by Viseum's Remote Managed Support Service to proactively alert manned response units using the following mobile phone based options:

Surveillance Profile Scheduling
Libraries of standard surveillance profiles are available to fit the majority of real-life environments, and new profiles are produced for customised applications.
Viseum's Remote Managed Support (RMS) services are on-hand to help ensure the profiles are optimised for each area under surveillance.
These profiles are easily selected from a drop-down menu and any number of different profiles for any number of specific areas can be set for different times of the day over a seven day period.
Local knowledge crime hot-spot management
Any number of areas are easily given 1 of 3 levels of priority. For example, areas where you are expecting certain activity can be given relevant priority:

The iVOS FaceRec face recognition system uses images from any camera device to continuously build facial profiles. Automated identification and automated re-identification of targets (people and vehicles) throughout your CCTV network:
During Live pursuit and incident investigation of suspects, this Viseum F3 system automatically registers the unique identity of people entering the video surveillance camera network. It re-identifies them as they move throughout various locations where surveillance cameras are located. This capability not only galvanises the long term deterrent using proven methods for crime reduction, it also offers many unique benefits to significantly enhance the value to the entire CCTV security enterprise.
Rapid Pursuit - Security personnel can identify and tag a suspect or a known offender during a live event. Alternatively a person's activity (e.g. passing a trip wire or breaching a perimeter) can automatically register their own unique identity onto the Viseum Central Intelligent VMS. Depending on what they do and where they go, various alarms can be automatically triggered and sent directly to relevant members of the security team for action. A GPS position of the suspect can be share with first responders.
Rapid Investigations – Once a suspect, victim or witness has been identified in any of the CCTV recordings, they can be automatically tracked
throughout the CCTV surveillance area in order to evaluate what happened to everyone involved before, during and after a crime was committed. Arrests are made quickly and effectively, guilty pleas are increased and court processes are minimised.
Viseum iVOS User Interface
An important strength of Viseum's iVOS functionality is its optimised user interface with flexible and intuitively intelligent algorithms. The surveillance operators interface changes dynamically based on geospatial information of an event and threat level e.g. terrorist, theft or misdemeanour. Also, operational maps of assets, galleries of faces, people and vehicles can be presented either based on predefined red, black and green lists, or dependant on each security personnel's particular emergency control requirements.

b) Delivering a Viseum CCTV Trailer to a client’s point of interest. This offers the greatest impact where the buyer sees that they can finally have a camera that covers all their assets.
Our demonstrations use our general surveillance scouting profile which is popular for the majority of applications. A presentation of our leading software capabilities will be included. These demonstrations help the client understand the unique benefits of Viseum camera deployments and our
partner can then learn more about the client’s initial projects and specific surveillance requirements.
Typical Software Commissioning Process for Field Deployments
The commissioning process can be achieved either prior to, or during, live deployments and typically takes less
than one week depending on the level of complexity. Our RMS services allow the client to modify their surveillance requirements throughout the lifetime of this service
(typically 3 years). Initial commissioning uses our general scouting surveillance profile and from this, the client understands its
capabilities to specify any niche surveillance requirements to be incorporated during commissioning. Feedback from the client during this process can be used to reduce or eliminate false triggers for when:
1. The PTZ Camera should automatically zoom into and follow an event. 2. The PTZ camera should automatically confirm an event, and/or classify the threat as person(s) or
vehicle. 3. An event should automatically create a remote alarm.

The Intelligent Virtual Operator Software is based on the highly robust Linux platform. This robust software package is now available to support the many different hardware architectures available today. This makes hardware procurement both easier and encourages the integration of the Viseum iVOS and IMC technology with more third party products.
Hardware Manufacture & Quality Control Management
The Viseum software system is future proofed by providing single pixel definition from its wide contextual view surveillance cameras and matching PTZ camera control accuracy. As camera hardware technologies improve, the Viseum system's detection and evidence gathering range and performance increases with them.
To ensure quality control and legal production of any product using Viseum software, an advanced licensing encryption system is implemented during the build process of any system using Viseum software, using a variety of hardware certification processes.
Hardware Maintenance
Immediate or potential hardware problems are dealt with as they occur using Viseum's Remote Managed Support watchdog and self-repair services. For ease and efficiency of maintenance, the unique local application configuration and certification is securely backed up on the Viseum CCTV NVR/DVR Camera Controller Compact Flash card.

Central to our business is the commercial protection we provide our partners in sharing these secured markets. We commit to the policing of this IPR in the following way: As with any infringement, its trade reseller is the primary target for legal action, which is, in turn, followed up by making the potential user aware of the infringing product’s recall due to its illegal use. This is then followed up with full and complete legal action with the suppliers of such goods. This policy of proactive policing our markets in this way since 2002 has proven so successful that we have only ever identified one infringing party. A PLC entity was found to be trading with infringing goods and they can now no longer sell such goods, nor can they secure investment due to this breach.
