RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

Each participant college should send two

entries on any two different topics

Participants team should reach one hour

before and report to screening committee

Performance time is ten minute.

There should be minimum 7 artist team of

the Pathnatya.

Presentation languages Marathi and Hindi.

Every participant team will bring all

necessary things such as make and drapery.

Arrangement of Art design will be done by

participant team.

All the rights of recording, broadcasting and

further utility is reserved with DLSA Pune.

The decision of DLSA is binding for all and

final.

Towards fulfilling the Preambular promise of

securing to all the citizens, Justice - Social,

Economic and Political, in 1987, The Legal

Services Authorities Act was enacted by the

Parliament, which came into force on 9th

November, 1995. The National Legal

Services Authority (NALSA) has been

constituted under the Legal Services

Authorities Act, 1987 to provide Free Legal

Services to the weaker sections of the

society.

Public awareness, equal opportunity and

deliverable justice are the cornerstones on

which the edifice of NALSA is based. The

principal objective of NALSA is to provide

free and competent legal services to the

weaker sections of the society and to ensure

that opportunities for securing justice are not

denied to any citizen by reason of economic

or other disabilities, and to organize Lok

Adalats for amicable settlement of disputes.

In addition to this, functions of NALSA

include spreading legal literacy and

awareness, undertaking social justice

litigations etc.

NALSA works in close coordination with the

various State Legal Services Authorities,

District Legal Services Authorities.

Street Theatre in India referred to as the

‘Third Theatre’ as a form of social and

cultural communication. Many Complex

social issues be it gender related, child

labor. imparting knowledge about HIV and

AIDS, the need to educate a girl politics, are

all enacted through the genre of ‘street

plays’.

There is a ‘stage discussion’ through

varrying perspectives of a number of

characters, bringing an immediacy and

urgency to the theme under consideration. It

is a situation, where the audience may not

have come prepared to watch a play, may

not have time on hand, hence the impact of a

‘street play’ is direct, close, intimate and

effectives. The impact is ‘immediate’.
