OnOctober 4-5, a delegation of Suffolkpoultry growers will visit the four-teenth annual exposition of thoNortheastern P o u l t r y Producerscouncil at Harrisburg, Pa. A , tripthrough the Connecticut River val-ley is planned for October 16-17.
Mr. Lindsey anticipates that atleast two carloads of LODR- Islandproducers will take in the big-NEPPCO show, which opens October2. The program will include some150 exhibits of the latest poultryequipment as well as demonstrationsand lectures on recent research de-velopments.
An even larger attendance is anti-cipated for the New England tour.Stops will be made at a number ofoutstanding poultry farms and broil-er plants, including Hubbard Broth-ers, Inc., Walpole , N. H.; Bennett'sTurkey and Poultry farm , Wilbra-ham, Mass.; Lavitt's Broiler farm ,East Longmeadow, Mass., and theAvery Poultry farm , Calrain , Mass.
Poultrymen interested in these ex-cursions should notify the Farm Bu-reau office in Riverhead, Mr. Lindseyadvised.
