REbECCA KilGoRE – voCAlSA Portland-based vocalist with more than 40 recordings to her name, Kilgore finds particular delight in preserving and interpreting the music of the Great American Songbook. She leads her own quartet, as well as being a frequent

She appears at jazz festivals all over the world, as well as maintaining regular gigs, as well as a successful recording career.

KEn PEPlowSKi – ClARinEt/tEnoR SAxThe late Mel Tormé said, “Since the advent of Benny Goodman, there have been too few clarinetists to fill the void that Goodman left. Ken Peplowski is most certainly one of those few. The man is magic.” Peplowski has been delighting audiences for over 30 years with his warmth, wit, and virtuosic musicianship in all styles of jazz.

The band’s five saxophones, eight brass and four-piece rhythm section are today’s version of hard-swinging, big band jazz. Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra performs regularly in concert with an array of international guest artists.
