West Australian Football Commission (Corporate/Sport) Chief Executive Officer

Role began in an environment of significant debt, no surplus cash and significant losses. Restructured the business leading to substantial growth and cost efficiency and now has 50% less debt, $A3m surplus cash and a record $2.6 million profit in 2015.

- WA State Body for Development and Growth of Australian Rules Football with 100+ staff in the business of Stadium Management, Competition Management and Game Development

- Commenced detailed negotiations for WA Football’s future economic model with State Government Ministers and bureaucrats

- Established Perth Stadium Management (a consortium between WAFC, world leading caterer - Delaware North, world leading ticket provider - Ticketmaster and world leading entertainment and content provider - Live Nation) as the dedicated venue operator for Domain Stadium hosting AFL games and major entertainment events resulting in annual attendance records of 1.1 million visitors in 2015

- Drove participation rates in football to year-on-year records with double digit growth

- Managed change in the second tier WAFL competition allowing WA based AFL sides to partner with WAFL sides

Role began upon listing on ASX as Western Capital Limited and evolved into biotechnology company Cortecs Limited which also listed on LSE and NASDAQ and peaked at a market capitalisation of $A1 billion.
