SAIL is not your average summer camp. It

is a unique, fun, and interactive program that

engages youth who otherwise may not have

much information on preparing for college.

Students who decide to take advantage of

this free program will get to enjoy SAIL one

week per summer until they graduate high

school. Students will learn about subjects from

distinguished University of Oregon professors

and through fun, social, and interactive activi-

ties. Each summer, students who come back

will participate in a different subject than the

previous summer.

The week at SAIL will also include learning

about the college admissions process, includ-

ing: information in scholarships, applying for

financial aid, and applying to colleges.

SAIL: What’s it all about? Subjects at SAIL

1. Economics: Learn about economics through strategy games that include cash prizes!2. Physics: Learn about the physics of rock climbing while you climb.3. Psychology: Learn about the psychology of a human brain while you’re touching one.4. Journalism: Find out how your favorite advertisements are made by professionals who have worked in the industry.
