1. Company Introduction

James Engineering Pty Ltd was established in 1963 as a general building contractor specialising in remote and difficult locations. 2. Capabilities

2.2 James Steel James Steel is a professional steel fabrication business operates from Toowoomba, including in house drafting. James Steel takes pride in its team, and only uses in house trained personnel for specialty work such as steel fabrication and painting. Works for James Steel would include the following: • Mobile skids • Electrical kiosks • Switchrooms and building support structures • General structural steel fabrications • Farm equipment modifications • Fencing • Plate and sheet folding and rolling • Blasting and painting

2.3 James Electrical James Electrical Installations worked exclusively to James Engineering Pty. Ltd. since July 2012. Our roll with James Engineering has been to work closely with James Electrical Installations and the principal contractors to complete the electrical fit-out of their transportable switchrooms at the James Engineering facility, Heathwood. Works typically include: -

• Receiving, unloading and unpacking free issued Electrical Equipment panels and loose items, including indoor secure storage of equipment until required for installation.

• Installation into switchroom, positioning and fixing of free issued panels and switchboards as shown per project drawings.

• Supply, installation of switchroom light & power including Light and Power Distribution board.

• Assembly of HV & LV switchboard sections including assembly of main bus bars between switchgear shipping sections including torqueing of bolts, fitting of any additional insulation or covers, joint resistance testing and insulation resistance testing of main bus.

• Installation and connection of interpanel wiring looms between switchboard shipping sections, plus point to point testing of interconnections.

• When required, installation and assembly of HV switchgear arc duct on switchgear & arc vents through external wall penetrations. When not supplied, we can assist with supply of specialised arc vent to clients’ approval.

• Supply, installation and earthing of cable ladder suspended from ceiling inside the switchroom and under floor cable ladder within the switchroom baseframe, for cabling between equipment panels and switchboards.

• Supply, installation and termination of Switchroom earth bar(s) and earthing cabling as per clients’ requirements, for the earthing of switchroom baseframe, switchboards, cable ladder and electrical panels.

• Supply, installation termination and testing of cabling within the Switchroom between equipment panels as per client documentation.

• When required supply and installation of floor mounted gland plates, or fabricated steel box’s fixed and sealed to the floor under switchgear panels, fitted with gland plates below floor level for termination of field cables.

• Wall mounted cable ladder and cable mechanical protection as required for wall mounted equipment panels.

• Supervision and management of our works and coordination with James Engineering and client.

• Temporary floor protection as required.

• Shoring and packing for road transport including loading and securing loose items within the switchroom.

• Disposal of all equipment packaging and rubbish, and clean-up of Switchroom prior to despatch.

• We can assist with client FAT by arranging temporary test supplies, barricading areas under test, supply labour and test equipment to assist.

• Provide ITP’s and test documentation of all tests completed by James Electrical Installations, or complete clients test documentation.

• Work with client to rectify free issued equipment issues, changes or modifications.

• On Site work if required by client to complete any further installation works, equipment changes or rectification.
