Hey guys, James Stewart here and I just wanted to personally welcome you to this year’s event. But I also wanted to THANK YOU for being a part of the fastest growing amateur national in the country. This is the fourth year we’ve run the event and we’ve seen some real progress on and off the track. Your participation is what’s driving all of that, so thank you very much!

For me personally, it’s been a real blessing to have a career like I have. Racing at the top level of the sport; doing that on the fastest bikes out there; winning all these races and so many amateur and pro titles. Add to that travelling to do what I love, starting up a gear line, working with some really good people and sponsoring kids and events. It’s been a dream. And

the crazy thing is that it all started out pretty much where most of you racers are right now.

I just wanted to let all of you guys know that the world of racing is not an easy one, but if your really believe and work for it, it can be something that you never thought possible. You’re going to be faced with a lot of difficulty along the way. Broken parts, not enough money, lack of motivation, injuries and believe me

you’ll lose more than you’ll win. But you have to keep pushing through all of that. That’s what really makes the difference in the end. That’s what people will see; your desire to work to achieve the best that you can. This year we’ve got the most entries that we’ve ever had. So that’s for sure going to make for higher levels of competition and that usually means there will be some intense racing out there. But that’s why we’re here right! Thank all of you for being a part of this. And I’ll do what I can to keep this event growing. Good luck and I can’t wait to see who’s taking home those championships. Remember when you get that #1 plate; I’ll be seeing you at my house in Florida this November!

Good Luck Guys and Gals!!!

WELCOME TO FREESTONE

Welcome to Freestone County Raceway and my families personal ranch. This property has been under the Miller name since 1853 and as many of you have seen, our own family cemetery is here on the ranch right next to the track.

If it’s your first time to Freestone, we hope you enjoy your time here at Miller Ranch. If you are returning, we hope we exceed your expectations.

Every year this event has grown and we continue to evolve and strive to improve upon your time here. We ask that you respect the property by keeping your area clean but also when you are out in the local communities, to give respect to the land around us.

Please don’t hesitate in stopping me during the event to say hello. You might think I’m too busy but feel free to tell me any concerns you may have. We

can never be perfect but we can always strive for perfection and your input is always needed.

Have a successful 2014 James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship. Braaaaap!!!
