The Museum is situated at The Cross in Dunblane, across the road from
Dunblane Cathedral.
CAR PARKING: there is a car park less than 200 metres from the Cathedral and 1 disabled
parking bay outside the Museum.
DISABLED ACCESS: the Museum has a lift and wheelchair access.
Guide pamphlets are available in various languages and in Braille.

21-year-old Dunblane-born Lieutenant James Huffam received Britain’s highest
gallantry medal for his remarkable bravery during the Battle of Arras in 1918.

The Princess Mary’s Christmas gift box was given to all members of the armed forces of the British Empire on Christmas day 1914.
The Museum was established in 1943, originally to house artefacts from the medieval Cathedral. These are on permanent display. Since then the trustees have continued to add to the Collection, which is now varied and relates to Dunblane and its environs.
A replica Atlantic Wall on Sheriffmuir was used in 1943 by the 49th Division to train for its role of assault division during the Normandy landings.
The art gallery holds exhibitions by local artists throughout the season.
