The three-day coordinationmeeting of RSS and its affiliateswill be bigger than usual and issueslike census figures and OROPmaycome up for discussion during theexercise which Prime MinisterNarendra Modi is likely to attend.
RSS chief spokespersonManmohan Vaidya today said 93main functionaries of the Hindutvaorganisation and its 15 affiliateswill "exchange notes" over rele-vant issues during the coordinationmeeting starting from September2.
Playing down reports that thefunctioning of the Modi dispensa-tion will also come up for discus-sion, he told reporters, "This meet-ing is not meant to review theGovernment's work or take a deci-sion. Nor will it be at the centre ofour discussion. But yes we will getall kinds of inputs and discussthat."
Such coordination meetingoccurs twice a year but it will bebigger than the regular such exer-cise. The participation will bealmost double than usual, Vaidyasaid.
"This time the meeting is big-ger. It is happening because lotmany things are happening in oursociety and there will be widerinputs from everybody," he said.
Speaking about Modi's partici-pation, he said the Prime Ministerwill attend the event according tohis convenience.(PTI)
