Congratulation 5th graders,

Teresa Balderrama, Asa Eng-

elhardt, Aj Fontenot, Joshua

Keating, Claudia Mendoza,

Hannah Miller, Ji Hwan Min,

Savannah Quire, Natalie

Santa, Jane Yoo all graduated

from the D.A.R.E program.

Their instructor Officer Witon

taught them what drugs can

do to your body. He also

taught them about their envi-

ronment and how people us-

ing drugs or alcohol can influ-

ence the environment. The 5th

graders had to write an essay

on what they have learned

during this course. The win-

ner of this contest was Natalie

Santa. Her prizes were many.

She received a prize from

Sunflower Bank and some

from her instructor, as well. I

want to congratulate all of

you.

Hey! Valentines Day is just around the

corner so why not send your best buddy

a little treat. You can also send some-

thing to teachers or staff all around the

school. The yearbook staff is selling a

wide selection of goodies, but there is a

limited amount so order them quickly.

Go to one of the yearbook staff members

or Mrs. Fowler to order.

all participants and their

instructors, including Mr.

Congratulations on a

Teacher

This year, Yearbook Staff has created a

mini game. A game that anyone can play as

long as you are a student of St. Xavier School.

Anyone has an opportunity to “Guess Who’’ the mystery person is,

it could be a teacher or a student. In addition, if anyone can guess

the right answer, he/she will be able to claim a prize.

Place your guesses in the box, which is located in the computer lab.

One winner will be selected at the end of every month.

:For more information ask Mrs. Fowler

On your birthday, for a five dollar

donation, you can choose a new book

to be given to the library in your honor.
