Jacques Philippe was born in France, and a�er studying mathema�cs in college, he spent several years teaching and doing scien�fic research. In 1976, he met the then recently-founded Community of the Bea�tudes and answered the Lord’s call to follow Him through this voca�on. He spent several years studying the Hebrew and the Jewish roots of Chris�anity and theology and canon law. He was ordained a priest in 1985, and began his work as a spiritual director, working in the forma�on of priests and seminarians of the Community. He has also preached retreats regularly in France and abroad and has consolidated his principal retreat themes into several books on spirituality. In recent years, he has devoted himself primarily to spiritual direc�on and preaching retreats. She works in the field of the philosophy of love, focusing on its role at the center of the rela�onship between God and crea�on, and on its meaning for human existence, especially in marriage, family and sexuality. Among her publica- �ons are the popular booklet The Special Gi� of Women for God, the Family and the World published by the Catholic Truth Society in England, and the scholarly ar�cle on the teaching of Humanae vitae in the American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly �tled Finis superabundant Operis: Refining an Ancient Cause for Under- standing the Spousal Act. Jacques Phillipe Chuck Weber serves as the execu�ve director of the Kansas Catholic Conference (KCC), which is the public policy arm of the Catholic Bishops of Kansas. His mission involves legisla�ve advocacy on the state level in Topeka, with some involvement on federal and local level issues. Prior to his posi�on with the KCC, Chuck served three years as a member of the House of Representa�ves, Kansas District 85. Chuck is a writer and short film producer with a wide range of business and non-profit projects to his credit, including assignments on behalf of the USCCB, several state Catholic Conferences, the Saint Pope Paul VI Ins�tute for the Study of Human Reproduc�on and Courage Interna�onal, among others. Chuck and his wife Cindy have five children, and their son David entered the Wichita Diocese House of Forma�on on the fall of 2019. They are long�me members of Church of the Resurrec�on in Bel Aire. She is also a Senior Contributor to The Daily Signal, the think tank’s mul�media news pla�orm. Previously a member of Heritage’s senior management as vice president of marke�ng, Genevieve advances conserva�ve policy ideas in the media and events na�onwide by helping everyday Americans understand how what happens in Washington affects them. He graduated from Cardinal Glennon College and Kenrick Seminary in St. Louis and was ordained a priest on May 10, 1986. On Aug. 23, 2002, he was named a Prelate of Honor with the �tle Monsignor by Blessed John Paul II. Bishop Kemme is a fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher.
