GENERAL MANAGER’S NOTE
2
Dear Members,
DeANNEHAMILTONExecutive Director/ General Manager
Happy New Year and greetings from all of us at KBTC! I am thrilled to be writing to you as the newly ap-pointed executive director and general manager of KBTC! I recently returned to the great Northwest to work with this talented staff, and I feel as if I’ve returned home! I grew up in Portland and earned my degree in communications from the University of Washington. As I look ahead to the New Year and think about all that we want to accomplish, I want to take a moment to thank you for your support in helping us achieve many of our goals in 2016! We love it when we can say we were able to deliver on our mission to engage and deliver experiences that educate, inspire and entertain. Thank You! • Because of you and your financial support we
brought you diverse perspectives and content about your world, including our own Northwest Now, which you’ve come to expect from us.
• Because of you we were able to make a differ-ence for youth in our community through our American Graduate and Ready to Learn pro-grams.
• Because of you we have an opportunity to explore how we can best serve you on the air, in the community and online.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and hearing what you think about KBTC!
