Goal Setting & Time Management 28th February, 22nd May | 9.30am – 1.00pm

Is it Time Management or is it Action Management?

However you view it, it comes down to the fact many of us never seem to have time for what matters most.

Developing techniques to make more intelligent use of time, and to prioritise and effectively manage a challenging workload can lead to a more productive workforce getting more important work done in less time and with less stress.

This seminar looks at these questions from a different angle, by developing “Focus” and maximising the 80/20 rule. This seminar will open the door for attendees who never seem to have time to get to the bottom of their in-tray, and find very little time for themselves and for creative thinking.

Delegates will learn how to:

• Identify their own particular time wasters and adopt strategies for reducing them

• Recognise and apply relevant techniques to overcome the variety of causes of procrastination

• Clarify and prioritise objectives and goals, by creating more planning time

• Maximise the 80/20 rule

• Use practical techniques for organising work

Handling Complaints 15th March | 9.30am – 1.00pm

Is there ever anything positive to say about complaints? Definitely!

Complaints are often passed from pillar to post within organisations and often not really taken seriously. However, there is so much that can be learned from them – service improvements, staff development and customer experience to name just a few areas that can benefit from managing them well. We needn’t be afraid of complaints at all. It’s how we handle them and what we learn from them that is really important.

This half day training course puts complaints into the wider customer service context, giving lots of practical tips and solutions.

By the end of this programme participants will have:

• An understanding of where complaints fit in to the wider customer service experience

• An understanding of what procedures and processes should be put in to manage their own complaints

• Experience of discussing sample case studies based on real life situations

• Ideas of how they can practically apply what has been learned into their working environment

Buyer Behaviour and the ‘7 Deadly Sins of Customer Service’27th March | 9.30am – 1.00pm

The workshop will inform delegates how buyers behave and what they are looking for when you are trying to sell to them. It is easier and more cost effective to sell more or additional products and services to an existing customer. What does a company need to do to sell more to an existing customer, and what they shouldn’t do to upset them and encourage them to go elsewhere the next time they are looking to buy from you?

Delegates will learn how buyers think and what you need to look out for, and when they are giving ‘buying signals’. The workshop will help delegates to plan for a sales meeting and to look for these ‘buying signals’. Delegates will learn what the ‘7 deadly sins of customer service’ are and what can be done to make sure none of these are present in the business.
