2019 marks a very important milestone for Hull New Theatre as the autumn sees the 80th anniversary of the first theatrical performance that was presented at the venue. In honour of this we are proud to present an ambitious programme of unmissable events including the record-breaking musical The Bodyguard, outstanding drama with the renowned National Theatre’s Macbeth, breath-taking dance from Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures with the critically acclaimed Swan Lake and family fun from the award-winning Birmingham Stage Company presenting Tom Gates Live to name just a few highlights.

A jewel in the crown in the heart of the City centre hosting a diverse programme of events. The team from BBC Radio Humberside and Look North are back with their 19th year of charity pantomime. This year we’ll meet the evil Blackbeard, Captain Plughole, Swashbuckling Susan and the gang, and find out where Robinson Crusoe went with Friday on Saturday night. All profits will go to the BBC Children in Need appeal.

Collabro, the world’s most successful musical theatre group, met in 2014 and won Britains Got Talent. In the three years since the competition, Collabro have released a Number 1 debut album “Stars”, followed by “Act Two” which peaked at Number 2 in the charts in the summer of 2015.Collabro are set to release their forthcoming album ‘Road To The Royal Albert Hall’.
