JAS SimDis Analyzer
Simulated Distillation (SimDis) is a gas chromatographic method to determine the true boiling point distribution curves of petroleum raw materials.
JAS offers a turnkey solution for simulated distillation up to C120. The key components of the JAS SimDis Analyzer are the JAS UNIS HT SimDis inlet and the unique JAS SimDis Software.
The JAS SimDis Analyzer is designed to meet ASTM methods D2887, D3710 (with packed column inlet and detector adaptors), D5399, D6352 and D7096, D7169, D7213, D7398 and D7500.
Features & Benefits
• Available with Agilent 7890 GCs and as retrofits for 6890 GCs• Dedicated JAS UNIS HT SimDis inlet → max. temperature of 0 °C → low thermal mass for fast heating and cooling
• User-friendly and easy to understand JAS SimDis Software
JAS UNIS HT SimDis Inlet
With its unique temperature programmable heating cartridge, its low thermal mass and a heating rate up to 720 °C/min the
demanding high-temperature analyses.
With an upper operating temperature of 45minimizing any carry-over and memory effects from the inlet.
• SL and PTV mode• Low thermal mass • Long heating cartridge with heated
column nut to avoid cold spots• Patented SimDis liner• SimDis up to C120• External controller
JAS SimDis Software
The JAS SimDis Software includes all relevant functions for comprehensive analyses and offers a user-friendly and easy to understand graphical user interface.
• Calibration• Blank run substraction• Reference sample• Chromatogram with IBP and FBP• Boiling point distribution curve• Boiling point % result• Standard cut point• Custom cut point• Built-in wt% to vol% conversion
The JAS SimDis Analyzer includes
• Agilent 7890 GC with FID• JAS UNIS HT SimDis inlet• JAS SimDis Software• Application
