Not showing the shark until the end, relying on hints and aftermath, makes the appearance more frightening.

More suspense added as protagonist end up stranded in water to fight the shark.

Add to suspense with Brody being afraid of water.– When he has to fight on board the boat it

makes the ending more uplifting.

security. Despite all of our sciences sometimes things

don’t function on our rules.
