Ankerbolt Drop InFeatures

The Drop In Ankerbolt is a self tapping anchor for use in Hollow Concrete Planks. It is installed into the solid section below the void and the setting tool prevents it passing into the void. It can be used for the attachment of threaded rod and bolts. The undercutting action provides a positive anchorage with no expansion forces

Attach anchor to a suitable impact wrench

Drive anchor into hollow plank until flush with the

fixture

Tighten with torque wrench to recommended

Injection Resin Features

The injection resin provides a stress free anchorage into the core of the hollow planks. The mesh sleeve ensure the resin is not injected into the void away from the threaded rod and retains the threaded rod until the resin has cured.

Each comes complete with 1 mixer nozzle

The loads shown apply to any of the Polyester resins listed on here.

Drill 16mm diameter hole into the void of

the plank

Clean the hole by brushing thoroughly

Insert perforated sleeve

Insert the stud by hand using a twisting

motion

Attach the nozzle to cartridge

Extrude first part to waste until an even colour is achieved

Fill sleeve to top, starting from bottom of the

sleeve

Allow resin to cureAttach fixture

Tighten with torque wrench to

recommended torque
