Controversy and Updates in Vascular Surgery (CACVS) is an international postgraduate course for Vascular Surgeons, Cardiac
Surgeons Vascular Radiologists, Angiologists, and trainees in vascular surgery, vascular radiology, and vascular medicine. The course includes a main session of two and a half days devoted to all aspects of vascular diseases and their treatments. A special focus is given on the most recent available data from on-going or recently published trials, technical aspects for selected vascular or endovascular procedures and debates on controversial topics.The scientific committee includes well renowned national and international vascular surgeons. The main topics are aneurysms, aortic dissections, carotid interventions, peripheral occlusive diseases, vascular accesses and interventions for venous diseases.On Saturday, a parallel session devoted to venous topics will provide the delegates with the most up-to-date information.For the first time a session co organized with the French Society of Young Vascular Surgeon , SICCV will take place on Saturday afternoonHands-on training sessions will be available for participants on Friday afternoon.Finally, symposia devoted to specific vascular issues will complete the course.
Since the first meeting 27 years ago, the concept of CACVS, along with a very busy schedule, has never disappointed the attendees whose number has been steadily growing every year. In January, Paris “the city of lights” is full of interests and surprises and the Marriott Rive Gauche hotel is an exceptional place extremely well located.The faculty includes world-wide renowned experts who were carefully selected according to their peculiar knowledge in the topics they will present. Finally the combination of thorough and casual approaches allows fruitful exchanges between speakers and delegates.

Le congrès des Controverses et Actualités en Chirurgie Vasculaire (CACVS) est une formation post universitaire internationale de haut
niveau s’adressant aux chirurgiens vasculaires et cardiaques, radiologues vasculaires, angiologues et jeunes chirurgiens en formation.La conférence comprend une session principale de deux journées et demie dédiées aux maladies vasculaires et à leurs traitements.Les présentations incluent les toutes dernières études publiées ou en cours de publication, les aspects techniques des interventions vasculaires ou endovasculaires ainsi que des débats sur des thèmes sélectionnés.Le comité scientifique qui a participé à l’élaboration du programme est constitué de professionnels de haut niveau, national ou international. Les thèmes abordés sont les anévrysmes artériels, les dissections aortiques, les interventions carotidiennes, les maladies artérielles occlusives périphériques, les accès vasculaires et les traitements des maladies veineuses.Le samedi, une session parallèle dédiée aux veines apportera aux participants les toutes dernières informations sur le sujet.Enfin, le samedi après-midi une session est co-organisée avec la SICCV .Des workshops veines seront proposés le vendredi après-midi.Enfin, des symposia consacrés à des problèmes vasculaires spécifiques complèteront le congrès.Depuis sa création il y a 27 ans, le congrès CACVS, fort d’un programme très complet, n’a jamais déçu ses participants, dont le nombre n’a cessé d’augmenter avec les années. En janvier, Paris, « La cité des lumières », offre une multitude d’opportunités et de surprises, et l’hôtel Marriott Rive Gauche est un lieu d’exception situé idéalement au cœur de la capitale.La faculté est composée d’experts venus du monde entier, choisis avec soin selon leurs compétences dans les sujets qu’ils présentent. L’association des présentations de haut niveau scientifique, d’interventions orales ou électroniques depuis la salle et d’une ambiance détendue permet des échanges fructueux entre les membres de la faculté et les participants.

Take your chance and present an electronic poster during CACVS 2019. A selection of the best abstracts will be presented as electronic posters during the congress. If you are selected, you will benefit from a special reduced rate to register to the congress. After the presentations, a jury will chose the best works.Deadline: October 31 2018Abstract submission: how does it work?Step 1: connect on our automatic platformStep 2: create an accountStep 3: submit your abstract (300 words maximum) in EnglishStep 4: wait for the approval.You will be informed if your abstract is selected for an electronic poster presentation during the congress. Hotel reservation & registration
Registration fees: a registration form must be completed and returned to divine [id]. Upon receipt of full payment, the participant will receive an e-mail confirming registration. The deadline for early registration fees is October 31, 2018. If you want to take advantage of the lower fees offered, make sure that your registration and the payment are sent well in advance. The final deadline for pre-registrations is January 31, 2019. It will be possible to register onsite but the Congress organizers recommend pre-booking to prevent delays to delegates. La session Veines est ouverte à tous les médecins impli-qués dans le traitement des veines (chirurgiens vasculaires, phlébologues, angiologues et dermatologues), internes, étudiants, infirmiers en thérapie veineuse.
Réservation hôtelière & inscription
Frais d’inscription : le formulaire d’inscription doit être com-plété et retourné à divine [id]. Après réception du paiement complet, le participant recevra une confirmation d’inscrip-tion. La date limite pour les inscriptions à tarif réduit est fixée au 31 octobre 2018. Si vous souhaitez profiter de cet avantage, faites le nécessaire pour que votre paiement soit reçu dans les temps. La date limite pour les pré-inscriptions est fixée au 31 janvier 2019. Il est également possible de vous inscrire sur le lieu du congrès directement mais les or-ganisateurs vous recommandent de vous pré-inscrire afin d’éviter les files d’attente. Les frais d’inscription incluent : l’entrée aux conférences ainsi qu’au hall d’exposition, les écouteurs pour la traduction simultanée, le livre du congrès (version électronique), les pauses café et déjeuners. L’accès nécessite un badge nominatif.
