Angie loves whi te and has done so for many years. Luck i ly

her husband, Job, shares her pass ion. For years the two

of them have shared a very specia l in terest in o ld th ings,

someth ing the i r house is cer ta in ly character ized by. The

couple l i ves in a love ly house in beaut i fu l Schleswig-

Holste in, Germany.

The i r home is f i l led wi th wonder fu l , o ld f lea market f inds

of which the major i ty by far is in var ious shades of

whi te a l though wi th a few touches of rose and nature.

In ter ior des ign is not just an in terest to the couple – i t 's

a l i festy le. Angie star ted a b log – decodreamscometrue.

b logspot.com – a few years back and a lso wrote a book

on in ter ior des ign and decorat ion: "Dreams come t rue".

So much of the i r t ime is spent on in ter ior des ign. When

i t comes to restor ing the o ld furn i ture, Job steps in. He

has the requi red pat ience and prec is ion, not to ment ion

a great a f fect ion for the o ld p ieces and the i r h is tory.

sur roundings as Angie and Job have, i t 's important to

create some l i fe in a l l the whi te sur faces. One way to do

that is by choosing d i f ferent shades of whi te. You can

a lso pat inate some of the sur faces wi th gray or pa int

them wi thout cover ing the sur face complete ly. Th is

creates some p lay of co lors to the shades of whi te.

Behind the wonder fu l cha ise is an o ld door. I t 's been

pa inted whi te and then pat inated wi th a pa le gray – a

n ice example that i t doesn' t take much to create in terest

on a whi te sur face. Another very n ice and fun deta i l

is the window on the wal l . Note the beaut i fu l paneled

mold ing around the window. I t 's of ten the smal l deta i ls

that rea l ly put the ic ing on the cake.
