JEFF WALKER(1944 - )
Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, Jeff graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman. After a stint in the Army, Walker attended graduate school at Eastern Montana College. He then taught art at Great Falls High for several years. Inspired by the water-colored Elephant Folio prints and engravings of Audubon, the mediums of etching and watercolor became united under Walker’s touch in small edition etching prints - pulled by hand, then water-colored individually. Etching gradually gave way to an interest in oil painting, and though he still does an etching or two per year, painting landscapes in oil has primarily taken over the easel time since 1990.
