The First steps to making jelly slice is the
Ingredients .To make this great slice
you will need the following:
Ingredients1pkt of Marie biscuits170g of butter1 can of condensed milk2 lemonsGelatine Red jelly
Wash Your Hands Before You Do
Anything!!!!!
Base
Get a tray and place some baking paper then spray over the top with non-stick
cooking oil.
Then make the jelly as it says on the Instructions and put aside to let it cool.
Crush the Marie biscuits finely until smooth with a couple of lumps.
Set the stove to the lowest temperature and
put the 170g of butter in. (Be careful not burn the
butter or boil it)
Then pour the melted butter in with the
crushed biscuits and mix until moist.
Then put the butter and biscuits into the
tray and flatten it out.
Lemon Layer
Pour the condensed milk
into a bowl.
Then get your 2 lemons cut them both in half and juice them.
Pour the lemon juice in.
With a measuring cup put 3tsp of the gelatine
powder then pour ¼ cup of boiling water in and
mix at the same time as you are pouring water in.
Then mix the condensed milk lemon juice and
gelatine together
Pour the condensed milk and lemon juice onto the base.
Spread it out all over the base.
Then put it in
the fridge
for about
30 minutes
.
After it has been half an hour in the fridge pour the jelly over it make sure it is cold first.
Leave the Jelly Slice in the fridge for
about 4-5 hours for it to set make sure
when you take it out the jelly is thick and
set.
When the jelly Slice is set take it out of the fridge,
get it out of the tray, take the baking paper off then
cut into squares.
Final Product!

Tips:
Tip 1#Leave each layer in the fridge for
roughly half an hour.
Tip 2#When flatting the base
make sure that the corners are pushes firmly against
the edges and do the same with all layers especially the base, so that the jelly
doesn’t go through.
Tip 3#Pour the jelly on while the jelly slice is in the
fridge.
