A resume is a summary of your background, skills and qualifications, which is for employers to reviewBut more importantly, a resume is YOU. It's the only thing (besides a cover letter) that the employer will see about you, so make a good first impression!

• Promote your strengths; create strong positive images
• Target your employer's needs/tailor to career position
• Focus on what you can offer
• Be authentic and provide specific, relevant examples
• Employ action verbs; omit pronouns

RESUME BASICS
• BRIEF is best!• Use bullets to highlight
achievements• Include only relevant and HONEST
information• Proof for typos, spelling,
consistency and grammar
