As an agent with Century 21 Masters serving clients in Orange County, Jennifer Matsumoto believes her honesty, integrity, and fierce work ethic have been the key to her successful career in the real estate industry. Born and raised in Sacramento, Jennifer moved to Southern California in 2000, where she graduated from UC Riverside with a BS in Business. She chose to put down her roots there, and like her mother, also a real estate agent who Jennifer watched and learned from, built her business from the ground up. “I was so inspired by my mom’s knowledge of the industry. She worked with a lot of investors and always stressed to me the importance of helping others not only buy and sell their homes, but building their wealth through their investment portfolio,” Jennifer stated. “So I jumped into it in 2007, and immediately loved it.” Always keeping her first real estate experience in mind when working with clients, it’s important for Jennifer to ensure that every transaction is smooth and seamless. “I remember what it was like to buy my first property, which is why I put myself in my clients’ shoes to understand, and ultimately satisfy, their needs and wants,” says Jennifer. “It’s also really important for me to educate them about the process so they always know what the next step is. They need to feel comfortable throughout the transaction, which is why I focus on that so much with my clients.” Jennifer’s efficiency has resulted in many satisfied clients who are happy to work with her again and refer her to friends and family. “After the transaction is done, they look back and say it was a lot easier than they ever thought it would be,” says Jennifer. “They always know I worked really hard to take care of them and exceed their expectations.” Along with her experience and true passion for real estate, Jennifer’s sales and negotiation skills have propelled her to be a true leader in the industry. Winner of the Rookie of the Year award after her first year in business, Jennifer has gone on to win numerous awards and accolades over the course of her career, including the Centurion and Diamond awards with Century 21. As proud as she is of those accomplishments, Jennifer is further rewarded simply by helping others realize their own dreams. “Just being a part of the process for a new homebuyer and seeing the look of excitement on their faces when we close is extremely gratifying. It’s a great feeling to know you helped someone move on to the next phase of their life,” says Jennifer. Although most of her time is spent providing exceptional customer service to her clients, Jennifer makes it a priority to devote quality time to her husband and two children. “I spend lots of time with them just watching my kids explore and grow. In addition, she also dedicates her time and effort to give back to her church.
