Goldsmiths' University is a few minutes' walk and there's a large Sainsbury’s by the train station. There are many good pubs to eat and drink in while Telegraph Hill Park has a regular farmers' market, seasonal events, a community garden, children's club and fabulous views. Brockley has some excellent independent shops while Camberwell, Peckham, Deptford, Greenwich and Blackheath are all a short trip down the road.
