!I have always been around motorcycles. My father has been in the

motorcycle business since I was very young. I spent many days of my childhood hanging around the original Big D Cycle in Oak Cliff, TX. I have been riding since an early age. Some of the earliest memories I have are riding my Yamaha PW50 in the field behind the shop. I began road racing in 2009 on a Suzuki SV650. I spent the first two years of my racing career learning. Road racing was nothing like riding on the street. Once I

sharpened my skill set, I began to do well and win races. I spent a year endurance racing a Kawasaki Ninja 250, that experience helped me out tremendously. Since I work at a vintage motorcycle shop, I began to cut my teeth racing vintage bikes. The experience of prepping and maintaining the old bikes, taught me a lot about how much hard work and effort is required to be successful in racing. We had a tough year on the first go around with my vintage Triumph; but the following year I won the Euro-American Twins championship at the AMA vintage days held at Mid-Ohio. As many racers before me have pointed out, when you get your first taste of victory; there is no turning back. Since then I have won two other national road racing championships, and a lot of races along the way. My team and I overcame mechanical, financial, and geographical obstacles to go out and win. We have been lucky to have some great sponsors and people get behind us and help achieve success. We are looking forward to an exciting year in 2014.

2014 Plans Triumph Thruxton

The upcoming race season holds a lot of excitement for me. I will be riding the Rush Racing Triumph Thruxton, and contesting the AHRMA Thruxton Transatlantic championship once again. Rush Racing was gracious enough to give me a shot on a whim last year, and we dominated the season and took the number one plate. Another longtime sponsor, Aggressive Racing, has paid for all the AHRMA race entries in 2014. We have reworked the Thruxton to make it better than before, and

pre-season tests have been very positive. The Thruxton is a good platform that is consistently reliable. With regular oil changes and fresh tires, the Thruxton is set for the entire season. I am anxious to get back out there and race the TTAC class, which is often the largest populated class in AHRMA. With everyone else riding Triumph Thruxtons in spec form, it makes for exciting racing where the rider has to be the strongest part of the package. I intend to win the championship again in 2014, and dominate the season from round one.

I have also been offered a ride in the AMA Vance and Hines XR1200 series. This series requires an AMA pro license. This will be the first time I have competed in the professional scene. CPL Systems and Barbra Conner Jewelry have provided me a fantastic opportunity to showcase my skills alongside the pros. This series runs with the other AMA road racing classes, such as Superbike, Supersport, and Daytona Sportbike. This is the AMA’s “stepping stone” class. Everyone is on very similar XR1200 Harleys, using only parts from the approved Vance and Hines racing kit. The bike will be transported for me, with all maintenance, fuel, and tires provided. I will be responsible for licensing fees, race entires, riding gear, and travel expenses. The series consists of five rounds this year. The motorcycle, spare parts, and a mechanic will be transported to each round. I intend to fly to the races since it is a cheeper alternative than the fuel required to drive. This ride was offered somewhat last minute, so I am hustling to get everything in order. I am very anxious to get out there and see what I can do.

The Schedule AHRMA Thruxton Transatlantic Championship

This series is a best of ten rounds championship. There are two days of racing at each round, making for twenty races total. My plan is to hit the ground running and try to win the championship as early as possible in the year. Making all ten rounds is not financially feasible. The rounds marked in

red are races I do not plan on attending unless the points situation dictates so at the time.

AMA Vance and Hines XR1200 Series

My goal for the XR1200 series is to place in the top 15, and then work my way up to the top 10. This is a big step for me, and I understand the competition will be tough. The bike is new to me, and I look forward to adjusting and improving on the bike. Most of the other riders in the series are seasoned veterans that have been racing professionally for years. It will be tough, but I am excited to face the challenge. There are only five rounds, and we will be competing in them all.

Sponsorship needed !- Tire sponsorship for the Thruxton. I will need five sets of Avon racing tires for the season. At a cost of around $400 a set, it adds up. $2000

!-Entry fees for the XR1200 series. These are actually quite affordable compared to club racing. The pro license and entires for the year comes out to $1500.

!- I will need travel money for the year. Fuel to the AHRMA rounds, hotels, and misc expenses. I work at a motorcycle shop, so I am far from independently wealthy. After all my personal bills and expenses, there is not much left. $2500

!I am very fortunate to have a lot of the big ticket items taken care of for the year. The XR1200 tires, fuel, and maintenance will be provided. The AHRMA entries are already paid for, and the Thruxton has been improved and made ready for the year. I am in talks to get a deal on two new sets of racing leathers that are to the AMA Pro racing specifications. Aggressive racing has agreed to fly me to all five of the AMA races, which is a gigantic help. I know this is a lot to ask. Any amount of funds or product sponsorship helps. I would be proud to display your company/shop/

product logo on the bike, my leathers, and/or helmet. The AMA series will give you a chance to provide your brand or company national exposure, with some rounds being televised. We have always been grateful for our sponsors and I enjoy helping those that help me by showcasing them any chance I get. I will be happy to work with you on getting logos, stickers, and patches worked out. We strive to have neat pits that proudly display our sponsors. I will gladly promote your products and distribute brochures and/or any other materials you provide at the races. Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing back from you
