There’s a market open every day of the week in Jersey City, supporting localfarmers and producers in the New Jersey/New York Area. =
Things to know about Jersey City Farmers’ Markets:
All markets operate independently featuring hand selected local vendors and farmers within a 300mile radius of Jersey City.
We encourage you to bring a reusable bag; our Farmers’ Markets are plastic bag free!
Select vendors and farmers accept SNAP, Women, Infants, Children (WIC) and Senior FarmersMarket Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers chat with the market manager to find out more.
Select Markets participate in the Jersey Double Bucks* Wholesome Wave Project. Read morebelow to see how SNAP can be used to get more fruits and vegetables at participating markets.
Below is a list of the official Jersey City Farmers Markets and Stands, along with their season rundates, days of the week and hours of operation.
*Jersey City Double Bucks Program (JCDB): Thanks to the support of the Wholesome Wave FoodInsecurity Nutrition Incentive Program, SNAP users are encouraged to shop at Farmers’ Markets toparticipate in this unique program that will double your SNAP dollars towards the purchase of fruitsand vegetables (up to $10) at participating farmers’ markets.
