Black Wings
Take an eye for an eye, a tooth for a toothJust like they say in the Bible
Never leave a trace or forget a faceOf any man at the table, any man at the table
When the moon is a cold chiseled daggerAnd it’s sharp enough to draw blood from a stone
He rides through your dreams on a coach and horses And the fence posts in the moonlight look like bones
Well they’ve stopped trying to hold him With mortar, stone and chain He broke out of every prison
Well the boots mount the staircaseThe door is flung back open
He’s not there for he has risenHe’s not there for he has risen
Some say he once killed a man with a guitar stringHe’s been seen at the table with kings
Well he once saved a baby from drowningThere are those that say beneath his coat there are wings
Some say they fear him
Some say they fear himOthers admire him
Because he steals his promiseOne look in his eyeAnd everyone deniesEver having met himEver having met him
He can turn himself into a strangerWell they broke a lot of canes on his hide
He was born away in a cornfieldA fever beats in his head just like a drum inside
Some say they fear himOthers admire him
Because he steals his promiseOne look in his eye
Everyone deniesEver having met himEver having met himEver having met himEver having met himEver having met himEver having met him

Few Designers embody the spirit of their creations quite like Pam Hogg. Where most brands concoct and enviable lifestyle to push their collec-tions, the roots of Pam’s de-signs reach deeply in to her own experience. Pam Hogg could easily be mistaken for a rock star, and its not to far
from the truth. She has always had strong connections to the music world. She was a Blitz kid and made her name in
fashion by wearing extrava-gant self-made pieces on the party scene. Her debut collec-
tion, launched
in 1981, was a response to the demands of admiring club-
bers. Since her first collection, Pam has continued to fit every item
to her own proportions. As designer, model, seamstress, and distributor of her work,
she has established an integ-rity fully removed from trend culture, which has propelled her career into its fourth dec-ade. She is her own product, not a manufactured celebrity, but a true artist and a some-
what reluctant icon.
BALTIC39
Baltic 39 is a new space located on High Bridge in the heart of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. This amaz-ing place has been created by the people from the well known Baltic.
I choose this place to host my event for Pam Hogg as i thought it would be great publicity for the North East and to give people from the area to experience and exhibit that would normaly sow in London.
