Marriage Week UKMarriage Week UK celebrates the diversity and vibrancy

of marriage as the foundation for family life. It is timed

to include Valentine’s Day and has been held every year since 1997.

Marriage Week is an opportunity to celebrate the goodness

of married life, remembering to give thanks and asking

ffor God’s help for all those experiencing difficulties in marriage.

Marriages need time and dedication to flourish, but have you

noticed how life can get extremely busy?

Being busy is not a bad thing, often we are busy doing good things,

like looking after children, working, studying and so on,

however there lies the challenge, in the midst of all these activities

we forget to look after our marriages.

SSo this week why not nurture your marriage

by doing something special with your other half.

This could be something as little as going out for dinner,

the theatre or ordering take away and watching a movie at home.

This week take some time to pray for all marriages

to remain strong and for an increase in marriages in the church.
