ARTISAN WORKSPACESpring 2012_Freshmen Year288 Hanover Street, Boston, MAThe artisan workspace was focused on the type of work and life style a professional photographer leads. It is a space that can embody and nourish the creative collaboration of the new and the pre- existing. The very traditional Italian North End area intervention allows interaction through the imple-mentation of art spanning generational age groups.

FACADE STUDYSpring 2013_Sophomore YearYale University, New Haven, CTWith Chris Drinan and Patricia RizzoThe unique façade of the Beinecke Library was examined to fully understand the building envelope, allowing the gen-eration of a scaled model. Through a collaborative effort, a representation of the library was implemented through the choice of materials and assembly. What was conceptually important to show in the model was the central bookcase and the structural suggestions of the granite “crosses”.

Summer 2013Gardner, MAA residential apartment was suffering with a wa-ter leak in specific areas of the space. An assess-ment of the windows and roof were performed and the information was translated into drawings to convey the issues at hand to the contractor. Eval-uation of the problem led the contractor to remove the improperly sealed windows and replace them.

TEXTILE TRANSFORMATIONFall 2013_Junior YearThis design was derived by combining natural and conceived forms to create an alternating pattern showcasing the characteristics of each. The chain link fence pattern was translated to the panel configuration and ultimately the textile was further abstracted into a lampshade, a practical object anyone can relate to.
