Non-Regular Classes Involving Multiple Dog Entries Stud Dog Class - Will be for Stud Dog and two of their Get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and musl be shown in the ring with their Get. Owner of the Siud Dog need not necessari ly be owner of Gel. Get only to be judged based on the merits of the Get. Get must be entered in one of the Regular Classes. While the merits of the Siud Dog are not be be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to delermine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the Standard for its breed. Brood Bitch Class - Same as the Stud Dog except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. As the judge's decision in the Stud Dog and Brood Bitch Classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes.

GRCA SWEEPSTAKES GUIDELINES HANDLER: The handler of a Sweepstakes exhibit must be either the owner, co-owner, breeder or member of their immediate family as they are listed on file with the American Kennel Club as of the closing date for the show for which the Sweepstakes entry is being made. Immediate family is defined as husband, wile, mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter or legal domestic partner. Stepchildren and legal wards are also included in this definition . In·laws and grandchildren are not considered to be immediate family members. No other individuals may lake the entry into the ring during judging or check-in.

The following individuals are excluded from showing an exhibit in sweepstakes unless they are the sale owner registered with the AKC or co-own the entry with a member 01 their immediate family (as defined above) or a legal domestic partner:

-Any individual listed as an agent on any dog in any regular or non-regular class at th is or any other show in the previous two years. -Any individual with an Agent number including , but not limited to an AKC Registered Handler Number

or Professional Handlers Association (PHA) number. To avoid confusion or question, it is recommended that a photocopy of the registration certificate be included with the entry for a co-owned exhibit. Best in Sweepstakes Class: II is required that the same person who showed the dog to a first place in a Sweepstakes class will also show the dog in the Best is Sweeps class. However, if that person should have more than one dog in the Best in Sweepstakes class, someone else is permitted to show the additional winner. That person should meet the handler definitions above. Only in cases where there is not another owner, co-owner, breeder or co-breeder or immediate family member available , should another person take the dog into the Best in Sweeps class. It is understood that there would be 00 financial benefit to that individual. Individuals who have an AKC Handler number, a PHA number or are listed as an agent on any dog in the regular or non-regular classes may not show a sweepstakes entrant unless they are the sale owner registered with the AKC or co-own the entry with a member of their immediate family (as defined above) or a legal domestic partner.

Puppy Sweepstakes is open to all purebred Golden Retriever puppies six (6) months of age and under eighteen (18) months of age on the day of the show. Each entrant must also be entered in a Regular Class at this show. Indicate Sweepstakes on the regUlar entry form in the space for "additional classes" and state age. AKC Champions of Record are not eligible .

The following classes will be offered for both dogs & bitches: Puppy, 6 months and under 9 months Junior, 12 months and under 15 months Puppy, 9 monlhs and under 12 months Junior, 15 months and under 18 months

BEGINNER PUPPY SPECIAL ATIRACTION FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2015

Bring your Beginner Puppy (4-6 months of age) to the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club Show on Friday, June 5, 2015.

Four to Six Month Special Attraction (AKC Sanctioned) The Four-to-Six Month Beginner Puppy competi tion shall be for dogs and bitches that are four months and under six months of age on the day of the event. AKC registration number or an AKC litter number will be required for entries. Professional handles are not permitted to exhibit in this class. Professional handles are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handlers' organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise adverlised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay. Dogs must be four months of age and under six months. Dogs are required to be vaccinated in accordance with their veterinarian's protocol in order to avoid inadvertent transmission of illness by/to puppies not yet fully immunized. AKC Rules in Dealing with Misconduct will be applicable to any person and dog entered at this competition. All applicable rules found in Rules Applying to Dog Shows will govem the conduct of this competition unless these regulations state otherwise. Exhibitors should plan on opening the mouth of their puppy for the judges. Breed standard disqualifications such as cotor, height, weight or denition shall not be a point of consideration in the judging process for this 4-6 month Puppy Special Attraction event. OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close , have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

OPEN SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.

MASTER CLASS: This Class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years on the day of the show, and who have won the 10 first place wins in an Open Class with competition to be eligible to enter the Limited Class Competition. The calendar for this class will consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniors meeting the criteria for this class are required to entry the Master Class and may change their entry the day of the show if entries have al ready closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passed all participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.

Competition must exist for Best Junior Handler. NOTICE

SHOW INFORMATION This year, the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club, Inc. wilt again be holding two Specialty Shows on the same day. We hope you will join us.

The morning Specialty Show will be held in conjunction with the Taconic Hills Kennel Club, Inc. All-Breed Show. Best of Breed will be eligible to go on to compete in the Group and Best in Show. See the separate premium list for Taconic Hills Kennel Club, Inc. for more detailed information about the morning specialty. When entering the morning specialty, enter the Taconic Hills Kennel Club, Inc. All-Breed Show. The entry for the morning Specialty Show is limited to 100 entries.

The afternoon Specialty Show offers entries for all regular classes listed on Page 4, as well as Veteran, 8 years & under 10 years Dog & Bitches; Veteran, 10 Years & Over Dogs and Bitches, AKC Hunting Retriever Dogs and Bitches, Stud Dog, Srood Bitch Classes and Junior Showmanship Competition. When entering the Afternoon Specialty, enter the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club; Inc. Specialty Show. The entry for the Afternoon Specialty Show is limited to 100 entries.

Sweepstakes and Veteran Sweepstakes are offered on the day before, Thursday afternoon, June 4, 2015 one half hour following the Best of Breed Judging at the Taconic Hills Kennel Club.

Additional Information: This is an outdoor show. Golden Retrievers will be shown in a comer ring . There will be a "Goldens Only" tent for grooming, crating and hospitality. The lent will be located near the ring the Goldens will be shown in for easy ring access. Please keep the grooming and crating area clean of debris. All prizes must be picked up the day of the event, none will be mailed. Please bring your own chairs. Light food will be provided by the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Clu b, Inc. Food is avai lable on site. Overnight parking by reservation only. See page Free day parking during show hours. Parents must be responsible for their children at all times. The Park will nol charge an admission fee on Thursday. June 4, 2015 and Friday, June 5, 2015. On Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays the park charges an $8.00 admission fee.

THE SHOW will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. An AKC RECORDING FEE o'S.SO and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered

at any Licensed or Member Club Show. Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. If a dog is entered in more than one class in one of these events, the AKC Recording Fee and Service Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of $3.00 will be required for each entry in any Lincesed or Member Club Rally Trial. If a dog is entered in more than one class in a Rally event, the AKC Recording Fee is to be collected on each of the entries of that dog. (AKC Rally Regulations, Chapter 1. Section 3). All Recording Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club.

CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled lime of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further

judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are respon­

sible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibil ity for providing service through a public address system or slewards or runners for the purpose 01 calling or locating dogs that are nol brought into the ring v.tIen required.

ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring.

THE SHOW COMMITIEElSUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show.

NO GASOLINE OR DIESEL GENERATORS are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent in whiCh this dog show is conducted.

Effective May 1, 2006 an administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries.
