Jobso TOP PRIORITY. Corporate bailouts and stimulus have failed to create new private sector jobs. Small Businesses ignored.

Banks that received taxpayer bailout money are still NOT lending.

o My wife is a small business owner. The fastest way to create new jobs is to assist Americas small businesses.o I support these common sense steps to help create jobs:

Boost Investment by Small Business Make Unemployment Benefits Tax Free Hold Personal Income Tax Rates Down Repaid TARP Funds Must Be Used to Pay Down the Debt Abolish the Death Tax Forever

Veteranso Keep treatment facilities accessibleo Vouchers as alternative for private careo Improve electronic medical files

Government Trusto The majority of Americans do not trust their government.o 77% of Americans are either frustrated or angry with the Federal government!o Only 22% trust the Federal government.o Increasing number of Americans worried about losing their personal freedoms.o People understand that record-breaking Federal spend on Bailouts, larger government, an

unpopular health care plan, and higher taxes are all bad for the economy.

o Despite the publics overwhelmingly negative views of Washington, my opponent and theObama White House keep pushing for bigger, more expensive, more intrusive government.

Illegal ImmigrationoLax border security and sloppy enforcementoRep Peter King (R-NY): "You can't have Homeland Security without Border Security".oStaudenraus v. Spitzer, 2007 to stop Elliot Spitzers reckless Driver License giveaway to illegal immigrants.oMust secure the American workplace.oEmployers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants must be held accountable for their actions.oMake todays voluntary employer verification system mandatory.oMost importantly, we must never reward line jumpers by giving amnesty to illegal immigrants. Amnesty is a slap in the face tomillions of immigrants whove played by the rules and come here lawfully.

oAmnesty guarantees future illegal immigration. It rewards illegal behavior by giving those who have broken the law billions inpublic benefits.

oMr. Schumer is the leading voice in the Senate for Amnesty. If passed, the Schumer Amnesty will cost trillions of taxpayer dollars.Social services at every level of government will be swamped. The Schumer Amnesty will increase taxes for all Americans, and raid

the Social Security trust fund of billions of dollars needed to pay for the retirement of U.S. citizens.

    Health Careo

All Americans deserve access to quality health care, and the way to deliver this is through careful changes to the privatesystem.

oGovernment should not come between you and your Doctor, nor should government dictate which Doctor you are allowed tosee.

oI am opposed to the health care legislation passed earlier this year against the will of the people. It will hurt our seniors onMedicare, raise taxes, and greatly increase government spending.

oI support common sense reforms to the private market system to hold costs down and make it easier for people to purchaseaffordable insurance.
