Mariam Al-Hamdan(Amash)It has been said about Mariam thepilgrim that she is one of the oldestpeople who has ever lived. She wasborn in 1888 and passed away in 2012.She had 10 children and more than200 grandsons. She lived throughsignifcant historical periods while

living in the Jisr az-Zarqa. She wasknown for her remarkable memory,keen social awareness, and love forothers until her dying day.
