Commencing at the above gearbox serial numbers, a lighter Spring than has been u~ed hitherto is fitted under the Synchro 'f~rust Members.

The new Thrust Member Springs may be used, IN GEARBOX Sr.."TS, as replacements for their predecessors (Part No. C~24181).. It should be noted, ho·•··ever, that Springs to part number C.24181 continue to be used under the Detent Balls.

Distributors and Dealers are reminded that full details of the all-synchromesh gearbox f i tted to Mark 2 and 'S' Type cars are given in Spares Bull etins D. 18(December, 1964), D.26(September, 1965)~ and D.29(November, 1965).
