Undergraduate Architecture Portfolio
“City of Wildly Abridged Freedoms”
This piece was done in 2009, on an individual agenda to practice the medium of Chalk Pastels and express how urban society has become so “concrete” that even if inhabited by wild animals, it would retain its structure as a guiding—and sometimes restricting—force of intelligent exis-tence.
“Orangutan Splash” ” This piece was done in 2010, on an individual agenda to experiment with acrylic paints by using quick strokes and unplanned subject matter.
“Jerusalem Perspectives” This photograph was taken in 2010 from an individual interest in perspec-tive, architectural history, and spacial analysis. (Location: Jerusalem, Israel)
“Hiphopopotamus vs Rhymenoceros”
This piece was done in 2009, on an individual agenda to connect the media of markers, pen and ink, and colored pencils. The piece was in response to a song written by “Flight of the Concords”, and is an example of an illogical juxtaposition.
“FWUSY Final Design on Shirt”
This project was completed in 2009, as a commissioned project to create a logo for “Far West USY”. The image is screen printed in white onto a blue, cotton shirt.
“An Unsuccessful Concealment of Degradation” This photograph was taken in 2010 from an individual interest in perspective, emotional charge, and implied obligation. (Location: Ein Ov’dat Desert, Israel)
“Universal Exploration via Hot Air Balloon”
This piece was done in 2009, on an individual agenda to connect the media of markers, and pen and ink. The piece was created in an effort to experiment with my own realms of thought, in an effort to expand my own imagination.
“Elephant Family” This piece was done in 2009, as a class assignment in AP Studio Art to practice the art of scratchboard drawing.
“Camouflaged Frog” This piece was done in 2010, as a class assignment in AP Stu-dio Art to practice the different techniques of using pen and ink.
This photograph was taken in 2010 from an indi-vidual interest in perspective, architectural his-tory, and spacial analysis. (Location: Jaffa, Israel)
“Where Stepping Stones Matter”
“Nannerpus Attacks” ” This piece was done in 2010, on an individual agenda to con-nect the media of watercolor paints, pen and ink, and colored pencils, while being completely derived from imagination.
“Infinity through Imagination”
This piece was done in 2010, on an individual agenda to connect the media of markers, and pen and ink.
“Sunset Amidst Unnecessary Dismay” This photograph was taken in 2010 from an individual interest in perspective, emotional charge, and implied obligation. (Location: Tel Aviv Beach, Israel)
“Zebra Family Print” This piece was done in 2009, as a class assignment in AP Studio Art to practice the art of linoleum print making. My prints were presented in the California State University of Northridge High School Art Shows for 2009.
“The Faces of Nature” This piece was done in 2010, on an individual agenda to connect the media of watercolor paints, and pen and ink. The piece was created in order to explore my own realms of imagination. (There are faces hidden in the tree’s branches.)
