RECRUITMENT RALLY FROM 12 TO 15 JULY 2016 AT SONARWAIN, BANDIPORA FOR NORTH KASHMIR

1. This fmn is conducting a recruitment rally at Sonarwain, Bandipora from 12 to 15 July 2016 covering the districts of Bandipora, Kupwara, Ganderbal Baramulla and Srinagar for all categories (Soldier General Duty (GD), Soldier Tradesman, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Clk/SKT), Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant. The eligibility criteria for each category is given at Appendix 'A'.

2. The recruitment will be conducted in three phases as under:- •

(a) Phase-I : On line Registration. On line registration for rally will commence 90 days from the date of rally wef 01 May 2016 to 27 June 2016 on www.indianarmyrecruiting.com. All candidates are required to compulsorily feed in their data prior to the conduct of the rally. Only then they will be eligible for recruitment rally. The procedure for online registration is attached as per Appendix 'B'

(b) Phase-II : The Recruitment Rally. The schedule of screening process of the rally is given below. Screening process is attached as per Appendix 'C'.

(i) 12 July 16 (i) Screening of candidates hailing I 0700h from the districts of Bandipora and

Kupwara (All categories). (ii) Token issue and registration of passed candidates.

(ii) 13 July 16 (i) Screening of candidates hailing 0700h from the Baramulla, Ganderbal and

Srinagar districts (All categories). (ii) Token issue, registration and medical examination of passed candidates. (iii) Medical examination of passed candidates and issue of admit cards.

(iii) 14 July 16 Medical examination of passed 0700h candidates and issue of admit cards.

(iv) 15 July 16 Medical examination of balance 0700h passed candidates and issue of

admit cards.

(c) Phase-Ill : Common Entrance Exam (CEE). Common Entrance Exam (CEE) (Written Test) for the qualifaed candidates of the rally will be held on 31 July 16 at High Ground, Anantnag for which separate instrs will be issued.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

Step I. Access Internet.

Step II. Open www.joinindianarmy.nic.in the official website of Directorate General of Recruiting of Indian Army.

Step Ill. Click on registration button.

Step IV. Fill the following data :-

(i) Education qualification certificate including matriculation certificate.

(ii) Personal details, including permanent address with PIN.

(iii) Verification/domicile certificate.

(iv) Have a personal valid E-mail ID*.

(v) Have a personal mobile number.

'*In case you do not have E-mail ID, please create before you register.

' Step V. Once data is accepted you will be asked to feed password (minimum eight characters and maximum ten characters).

Step VI. You will be directed to check your eligibility.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE APPLICATION

Step I. Open www.joinlndianarmy.nic.in

Step II. Already registered then login (using user ID and Password) otherwise register yourself.

Step Ill. Fill data as required. Then click on check eligibility.

Step IV. Check the category you want to apply. If the apply button is green then click on it.

Step V. Fill all details and at the end of every page press save and continue

Step VI. After filling all data, press save and submit. One your application is accepted, the website will generate and display your roll number.

DOCUMENTS TO BE BROUGHT BY CANDIDATES

1. Certificate required to be checked before issue of token.

(a) Marks Sheet & Board certificate of 10th /12th class issued by State Board of Education J&K/any other Board (12th Pass candidates should also bring 10th class certificate/Mark Sheet showing Date of Birth). Graduates should bring the Graduation Mark Sheet as well

(b) Nativity/State Subject/Domicile certificate duly signed by Tehsildar/Deputy Commissioner.

(c) Character certificate from School, Police & Sarpanch/Numbardar issued within last six months.

(d) Unmarried certificate issued by Sarpanch/Numberdar issued within last six months.

(e) Caste certificate duly signed by Tehsildar.

(f) Relationship certificate issued by Record office concerned onfy for SOS/ SOEX/SOW/ SOWW duly signed by SRO/CRO with particulars i.e. Number, Rank and Name of person signing it.

(g) Following documents are generated after online registration and need to be brought by the candidate at the rally site :-

(i) Admit Cards (To be countersigned by Govt servant) •

(ii) Blank Affidavit (To be duly filled by the candidates and get attested by Notary).

(iii) Roll number slip as generated by system after online registration.

Note : A fresh Admit Card will be given to successful candidates in the rally for Common Entrance Examination

2 Photoaraohs Candidates must be possession of 12 passport size photographs and Sikh candidates 12 photographs with turban and 12 photographs without turban Le 24 photographs taken in last 6 months (Computer print photographs will not be accepted.)

3. All certificates are required in original alongwith photostat copies duly attested One photocopy of 1 Olh class certificate will be carried by the candidate during the 1. 6 km run.

1. All candidates will be checked for eligibility criteria and their documents and only then will they be allowed to participate in the screening process.

(e) Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical and Soldier Tradesman Category. Candidates will be selected in only two groups:-

{i} Upto 05 minimums 40 seconds Group 1- 60 Marks. (With relaxation of 30 seconds for Ht between SOOOfeet to 9000 feet)

(ii) From 05 minimums 41 seconds to 06 minimums 20 seconds - Group II - 48 Marks. (With relaxation of 30 seconds for height between SOOOfeet to 9000 feet)

3. Physical Measurements. Standards required for height weight and chest are given at Appendix 'B'.

4. Medical Examination. Those candidates who pass and score more than 40% marks in physical fitness tests (PFT}, meet the Physical Measurement (PMT) criteria and are in possession of all documents as per Annexure to Appendix 'B' will undergo medical examination. Any candidate failing in PFT PMT or documentation check, will be declared unfrt and token issued will be collected back by staff assisting the conduct. All withdrawn tokens to be handed over to Assistant Recruiting Officers{Subedar Majors). CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ADVISED TO GET THEIR EARS CLEANED FOR WAX BEFORE REPORTING TO RECRUITMENT RALLY AS IT HAS BEEN A VERY COMMON CAUSE OF REJECTION. FORMATIONS/BATALLIONS TRAINING LOCAL YOUTHS SHOULD CARRYOUT THEIR MEDICAL EXAMINATION AS PER AFMSF-2A PRIOR TO TRAINING.

5. Admit Card. Those candidates who are found medically fit will be given 'Admit Card' for written test.

6. Written Test Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted at Anantnag on 31 Jul 16 Suitable covered accommodation for conduct of CEE be identified by the conducting formation at the earliest and intimated to this office.

7. Result Result is likely to be declared after 15 days from CEE. Exact date and result details will be announced on Punjab Govt Site www.punjab.gov.in and local news papers (Punjab Kesri, Udhampur Edition).

I 8. Recruitment. Candidates who finally come in the merit list will be dispatched through Army Recruiting Office Srinagar during the month of September/December 2016. Detailed instructions to successful candidates will be issued by Army Recruiting Office Srinagar at the time of declaration of result.
