2. Job Purpose and Objective (state the overall purpose and objectives of the position).
• Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements in FICO, SD and MM using ABAP technology.
• Maintain in roles & authorization and basic Basis tasks. • Support and maintain interface from/to core applications. • Providing technical support to the end users
3. Primary duties and responsibilities (start with a verb). Purpose / Outcome Est. % of

Follow up Manage Engine tickets (SAP) assigned • Clarify the issue with end users • Communicate with Global SAP FICO team on
the Development and Delivery of resolution • Facilitate UT and UAT with users • Provide appropriate assessment of SAP OSS
notes with regard to relevance for CNCo ABAP Operations
2nd and 3rd level support

Facilitate the CR and new requests discussions and UAT • Work on the CR assigned by SAP Demand
Manager and SAP FICO Manager • Facilitate the discussions with SAP team
members • Perform detailed planning & project
management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required
• Contribute input and coordination to training documentation for ABAP tasks

4. Job Specification State the education, experience, training, and technical skills necessary for entry into this job. This should include any extraordinary conditions applicable to the job (for example, heavy lifting, exposure to temperature extremes, or prolonged standing). • At least 8 years in an ABAP consulting role in an SAP environment/client and interfaces methodology
and support. • Skills and experience in SAP System and process savvy of SAP FICO, SD, MM ABAP development. • SAP ABAP application operations
o Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Conversions, Smart Forms, SAP script, Screen Painter, BDC, LSMW, User Exits, Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, BAPI, BADI, PI, Adobe forms, ABAP workflow, Web DynPro etc. Webservice creation & use ALE/iDoc, Oracle & PL/SQL
• Knowledge of linkages in ABAP are an added advantage o PHP o MS SQL Server preferred
• Experience in roles & authorization and basic basis knowledge • Understand the SAP Application Support and Change Management lifecycle. • Strong ability to understand complex system landscape configuration considering the E2E view • ITIL Knowledge and Experience would be an advantage. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, Data gathering and diagnosis ability • Shipping/Logistics industry experience preferred. • Good communication skills with different levels of business users and technical teams • English language (fluent in both written and verbal) • Ability to work in a team • Good Communication & Facilitation skills • Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Systems or related qualification preferred
