restaurants company JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: RESTAURANT ASSISTANT MANAGER RESPONSIBLE FOR: ALL ASIGNED RESTAURANT STAFF ACCOUNTABLE TO: MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION: 1.0 JOB SUMMARY:

1.0 Manages the day to day activities of restaurant ensuring and enforcing quality standards in all aspects of restaurant operation. Your actual assignment will be decided by Operation Manager. You may be asked to work split shift.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES: 2.1 Supervise and monitor performance of all food production & service crew. 2.2 Perform employees scheduling emphasizing efficiency. 2.3 Ensure that all production and service deadlines are met. 2.4 Complete all food/non food requisitions in a timely manner. 2.5 Ensures that all food receiving guidelines are met on raw materials. 2.6 Enforce strict hygiene and sanitation measures throughout the restaurant. 2.7 Ensures that pest control spraying is carried out in a timely manner as

scheduled. 2.8 Command customer service enforcing portioning and garnishing guidelines

ensuring that customer food is at the desired temperature. 2.9 Perform customer table booking in an efficient manner. 2.10 Perform customer feedback and inform authorities concern for any corrective

action. 2.11 Keep Operation Manager informed with all labor related or production

problems. 2.12 Maintain records, census and statistical data pertaining to production estimate

and requisitions. 2.13 Inspect all restaurant staff for their personal hygiene and appearance. 2.14 Ensures that all restaurant staff carries out their cleaning assignment. 2.15 Ensures the smooth operation of the restaurant. 2.16 Manage activities to ensure effective utilization of resources. 2.17 Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS:

3.1 Personal Qualities:

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written, in English and Arabic Languages. Must be able to handle customer complaints diplomatically, politely and gently. Must be able to work under pressure and cope with unexpected events, short notices and sudden plans. Must be able and willing to take instruction from Manager. Must understand and follow confidentiality principles.
