The quality engineering (QE) team at Entersekt ensures that we develop and deliver world-class security software. We choose to drive quality as a culture over quality as a process by partnering with the engineering teams and working as a cross-functional community of passionate and driven individuals.

THE ROLE

Entersekt is looking for a senior analyst in the QE team that will help drive quality for multiple services running on a Kubernetes platform that is highly available, distributed and self-healing.

You would be expected to create and implement test strategies and processes for services/products that help identify risks within the software development lifecycle across multiple teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Agile development teams to define and implement product test strategies based on functional and non-functional requirements

• Liaise with developers to create and execute test plans • Proactively drive quality improvement through metrics and reporting • Track test coverage across components from code and functional perspectives • Integrate with multiple Agile development teams partaking in planning, testing and scrum

ceremonies • Advocate quality, best practices and user experience throughout the SDLC • Ensure that each product adheres to the platform requirements and specifications • Coordinate and drive the production hardening and release process across multiple

teams

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will generally possess the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years’ experience assessing software quality • Good writing and reporting skills • Experience with manual testing for mobile and the web • Experience with API/endpoint testing and automation using tools like SoapUI, Insomnia

or Postman • Experience with test automation: Selenium/Appium • Comfortable with Linux, Bash and Git • Familiar with domain-specific languages: Gherkin/SpecFlow • Familiar with continuous integration/continuous delivery: Jenkins/TeamCity/GitlabCI • Experience with microservices and the cloud: Docker/Kubernetes/AWS/Azure • Experience with test environment setup • Familiar with performance, stability and chaos testing • Agile experience preferred • Experience with SDLC administration tools like JIRA or equivalent • Relevant education/certification (ISTQB, Diploma or Degree) is a plus • Programming experience: JavaScript/Golang/Python • Basic understanding of software security: SSL/Certs/Encryption
