UV protection**JOBST ® Elvarex® compression garments give patients the confidence of knowing they are well protected even on sunny days. Trust in UV protection with SPF 80, corresponding to Standard 801 developed by the International Test Association for Applied UV Protection.

CottonThe use of cotton – the classic of all clothing fabrics – in JOBST ® Elvarex® greatly enhances wearing comfort thanks to its distinct skin-friendliness.

Natural rubberLatex is also an important component of JOBST ® Elvarex®. It remains flexible even when cold and adapts itself to the wearer’s body. The best argument for latex is the “shape memory” of the material: after being stretched, it immediately returns to its original shape, thus enabling extended wear. However, patients that have a latex allergy should not worry because the latex is in the threads core, and does not touch the skin.
