Minutes of Thirteenth IQAC Meeting held on 01-05-2018 at 10:30 am in Conference Hall.


The following are the discussions and decisions taken place in the Meeting:

1. It was decided to implement the suggestions of NAAC Peer Team Visit.

2. Review of Twelfth IQAC Meeting is done. It was decided to verify the Status Registers, Lab

Equipment in each department by the HOD and asked to identify required new Equipment for

the Academic Year 2018-2019.

3. Submission all the Course Files for the Academic Year 2017-18 Semester – II and

preparation of course file for the A.Y 2018-19 Semester-1 before commencement of semester

.consolidate mapping of each Course Outcomes with Program Outcomes. All the QAC

members has coordinate this activity

4. To improve pass percentage it was decided to conduct slip tests, arrange Faculty

Development Programs, and improve the student attendance.

5. It is directed Dr.U.Moulali, College Academic Committee (CAC) Coordinator to prepare

Department wise Academic Calendar and consolidate all the departments’ calendars to make

College Academic Calendar. It is also strictly suggested to identify Guest

Lecturers/Seminars/Workshops and include in the Academic Calendar. Effective

Implementation of Outcome Based Education System in all the departments.

6. Dr.C.V.Madhusudhan Reddy, ICT Coordinator is directed to take this responsibility and

identify various tools to for efficient implement ICT Enabled teaching.

7. It was decided to establish a central store in which all consumable and non-consumable items

will be available.

8. Dr.T.V.S.Arun Murthy, Vice Principal has asked to prepare the policies regarding HR

Maternity Leaves, Earned Leaves, Issuing Appointment Orders for Permanent Faculty and

providing Group Insurance for the staff members.

9. It was directed to all the HODs to apply for Research Grants under UGC 2(f) guidelines in

each department. Dr.Syed Umar, R&D Head is directed to take the responsibility. It is also





directed to R&D Head to prepare guidelines for funding towards Faculty Publications in

National/International Journals/Conferences.

10. It is directed that Mr.E.Rajesh/P.Rajender, Examination Branch Coordinator to identify the

Squad Committee for smooth conduction of Internal & External Examinations.

11. It was decided and directed to Dr.G.Chandra Sekhar, HOD MBA to establish Hostel Office to

monitor movements and details of the Hostel students.

12. It was decided and directed to Dr.G.Chandra Sekhar, HOD MBA to conduct Audit of Library

Books for every Semester and to improve the number of titles, Books/Journals on new

technology.

13. It was decided to conduct Induction program for 21 days to the First Year B.Tech Students to

enlighten regarding Program Importance, Job Opportunities, Technologies, etc., Dr.B.Ravi

Kumar, Prof., H&S is directed to prepare the time table and faculty members for the

induction program.

a. College Academic Committee proposals are discussed by the members regarding the

Point No 1: Reviewed Minutes of first meeting held on 09-04-2012.

Point No 2: To discus about maintain of quality as per the parameters prescribed (as per norms).

i. develop and deploy action plans for effective implementation of the curriculum

ii. interact with beneficiaries such as Industry, research bodies and the university in effective

operationalization of the curriculum

iii. analyze/ ensure that the stated objectives of curriculum are achieved in the course of

Point No 3: Preparing the Lab Manuals as per the Latest Regulations and Servicing the Lab Equipment.

Discussion on Pass percentages

o College Academic Committee proposals are discussed by the members regarding the

attendance and appeared students to the exams and the performance of the students in mid

and lab exams.

o The Committee submitted the report on pass percentage of the students’ course wise and the

members advised to conduct extra classes to the slow learners and improve the pass

percentage.

o The Committee reported that the course files submitted by the faculty are not up to the mark

and need to be followed according to the contents and finalize them.

IQAC suggested conducting minimum two FDPs in each department per academic year.
