    John 14:6

Since the coming of Jesus Ministry,

the entering into the Kingdom of G-D

is through Jesus alone. A new look at

    a central Christian verse.

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God

is preached, and every man presseth into it.

    Luke 16:16 (King James version)

By a closer analysis of the manuscripts that once ran every letter against every

letter in Uncials, we see that Luke 16:16 should have included a word which (I

believe) was (mis)sub-divisioned into the next verse.

Starting from ho nomos (should the Greek text not appear below...), Luke 16:16

should end with eukopoteron, which I believe is errantly placed in the next verse,

whereas it is easily read as the same verse by a reader in the oldest manuscripts.

This word is a direct translation of a teaching as found in Matthew 11:28-30 -

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and

ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

    eu - meaning good

but when used with "burden" (kopos), it means to:

make light, easy; even a state of being restful from burdens.

    2/26

When we preach the Gospel of the Cross, it should be a "learning" experience

where also the weight of sin (as a burden) drops off the shoulders, and the Good

News of deliverance and Propitiation is indeed, good news...bringing about a state

of rest from anxiety and burdens.

    Luke 16:16

    [* - placement, minewas v. 17]

The Law, and the Prophets, untiland-aslong-as John: from then, the

Kingdom of G-D is being preached, and everyone into it is pressing easier.

    17

Then/And it is the Heaven and the Earth to pass away, than of the Law one

    tittle to fall.

Does the Law pass away? No. For Jesus has said that it is easier for G-D torecreate the Heavens and the Earth, than to do away with the Instruction.

Something has happened with the coming of Christ. There is a state of (the

Hebraic) "selah" or "suspension" of the Instruction / the Law, as it were. A state

    of Grace has occurred.

John is the last prophet to close out the old Covenant era, in which the way of hope

was through the hardness of Mosaic Law. John would point the way to theEASIER PRESSING into the Kingdom of G-D, the Way of Grace in and through

Messiah: Christ Jesus. The way of grace went from harshness with scatterings of

comfort, to the more easily digestible preaching of abundant grace in Christ, and

only scatterings of judgment or wrath for disobedience. With the passing of John,

and the coming of Christ the Redeemer, there is no more being saved by the Law

    3/26

without Christ...no more imperfections and short-comings (though allowed during

the duration from Moses to John) are to be allowed anymore, because that era has

    closed out.

The Law is NEVER annulled...Moses is never annulled...a greater than Moses hascome. Who is greater than Moses who gave the Law? Answer: The One who gave

it to Moses. HASHEM alone is the fulfillment of the Law, and HASHEM -- who

took on a clothing of flesh as Christ Jesus -- had arrived! Those who reject Christ

are left only an alternative to live by the Law of Moses, the which, without the

Temple on the Mount, cannot be lived (absent 202 laws of Mosaic Law

    Observation).

Abraham had his Covenant of Faith, and "faith" reigned until Sinai. At Sinai, theLaw came, and the Law of Sinai ruled until John.

The Law of Moses until Christ, or, for a limited time:

A Hebrew word of importance, as to why the Law of Moses was added, is Hebraic

"Qashah": spelled as Qoph - Shin - He. This word is of importance in knowing

why the Law of Moses was only for a duration, as why it was not, and could not be

    enough.

In Deuteronomy 9:27, Moses himself prayed:

"Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the

hard*cruel*stubbornness* of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin."

In Jeremiah 7:26, the severity ofQaSHaHhas increased 7 fold more -- to a point

of unbearableness, far worse than that of the hard-hearted rebellion of Israel in the

    wilderness under Moses.

The word picture ofQaSHaHhere, is likened to a harshly cruel, stubborn (perhaps

viciously goring) ox; that, though yoked: is stiff-necked, adamantly refusing to go

where it is assigned to go, purposely veering as if oblivious to the severest pull of

the yoke and to all reins or beatings, driving one's plow intentionally off course to

the apparently intentional destruction of yourself, your family's needs, your hope,

and not just your physical property. As if to single handedly ruin your field, your

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    4/26

    crops, and take your life.

Because ofQaSHaH: it was therefore necessary that a "new law" (Jeremiah 31:31-

    33) and a "new hope" (Jeremiah 29:10-11) needed to be the easier fulfillment and

attainable goal of the Law of Moses, because the Mosaic law was alreadysomething old...and to be hated and ignored (as far as the GREAT majority of Jews

    were concerned in Jeremiah's day).

The law of G-D passes not away...but what is that Law?

The rabbis say it was "Moses law". G-D gave man two commands in Eden...two

laws: Be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth...and don't eat of that one tree

over there. Whatever happened to those two laws? Did they pass away? No. Andhow is that second law of Adam (or the Adamic law not to eat of the Tree of good

and evil in the midst of the garden) fulfilled unto this day? To this, we read the

Hebrew of Jeremiah 31 and then read Paul in Romans chapters 1-3 (preferably

    from the Greek).

We then pay attention to diatheke in Romans, and then look at the LXX passage in

Jeremiah. TheNomos of Moshe is called a diatheke, an institution or certain

order. Once a new will or covenant is drafted among men, the old is discarded.

But if G-D drafts a new diatheke against apalaia diatheke, the old is to be

FULFILLED by the New, while carrying through to deliverance.

Therefore, any Law(s) of G-D, finds fulfillment only when it is perfectly

kept...because its goal is the attainment of deliverance from sin. It does not pass

away, it does not fail ... only those like every one of us (Eccl. 7:20) fail. But

Messiah -- in our behalf -- fulfills and brings to completion the fulfillment of the

Law (Daniel 9:24) according to the timeline given us by the prophets...and this

    Messiah is Yeshua / Jesus.

Of the 613 laws of Moses, 202 of them must have a standing Temple

to allow someone the attempt to justify by fulfilling the whole Law

    of Moses.

Now that Christ has come -- we cannot, in no way, nor by any means keep the

    whole Torah perfectly.

But praise G-D, now that Christ has come, a more perfect and easier way has been

set before us...and that easier way, the same way as experienced by Abraham, but

BETTER, is now laid before us bloodlessly now, but by the spilling of the blood of

G-D in Christ Jesus at the Cross at 3pm Jerusalem time, on Passover afternoon in

    30 A.D.

And that one and single blood-spilling and atonement of G-D in Christ Jesus, iseternal, once and for all, and washes away ALL sins...to whosoever will believe.

The Cross makes the pressing into the Kingdom of G-D easier and joyful...as is our

    learning of Jesus.

    John 14:6

    Uniquely examined

and found to be containing the

    theology of the Cross

John 14:6 And Jesus said, "I am the Truth":

    Greek:

Greek Transliteration: ego eimi ay hodos kai ay h'aleitheia kai ay zoe

English: I AM -- the Way and the Truth and the (living) eternal Life:

    Greek: .

Greek Translit.: oudeis erchetai pros ton patera ei may dee emou.

English: no one comes up to/ alongside the Father except through Me.

Jesus saith unto him,I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me(King James Version).

    7/26

The WayJesus said, I Am the Way:

In the Greek above, we see the word used for way is hodos. Hodosis that

path, way, or road which leads one to an acknowledgeable end-destination.

For example, at Beth Shean, if you were to follow the caravan route north, you

would traverse into the hodosof the Sea of Galilee. The hodosof the Sea will

then lead you directly to Capernaum. If, from Beth Shean, you were to take the

hodosthrough the western Valley, it would eventually round over to the north

and into Galilee. That hodoswould be more direct in relation to attaining

    Nazareth, Sepphoris, and Cana.

If you left Beth Shean and took the hodossouth, you would attain Jericho, and

then from Jericho, take the winding hodos some23 miles up to Jerusalem. Likemodern travel, hodos may simply be a collection of paths that get you from here

to there; yet, it is reflected back upon as a whole, or as a singular path, a singular

    journey.

When we find Christ, we find that the goal and attainment of the person and the

destination are one and the same. Yet, we all start off from different vantage

points: physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. The hodosupon

which we travel is nothing we can ever really call tangible in this life; but rather, it

is an intangible grappling with the finer points of what is and what is not the trueand greater reality before us. We are called to stay true to a course that is beyond

sight and other sensory perceptions. So when we read that Christ calls Himself the

hodos, The Way, we can know and appreciate that regardless of this lifes

outcome, our destination and our hope is in Him: in YHVeHMessiah -- Jesus

    Christ.

AndJesus said: I Am the BA

If we were to translate this verse into Hebrew, the most appropriate translation of

hodoswould be BA.Now, let us for the moment, accept without question that

Christ is the ba. If we reverse these two letters of Beth and Alef, we see then

what He is the Way to: AB, which means the Father. By proclaiming

Himself as the Way, Christ claims exclusively, only through Him -- through His

own person -- lays the Way to the Father.

    8/26

In a closer examination of the Greek, often the word hodosprojects the word-

picture ofthat path or way which leads to the DOORof a house or Temple.

In the Old Testament, we see only a few occasions of this in the Hebrew. In

Genesis 24:62 we read when Isaac the Son was coming forth toward his betrothed:

And Isaac BA from the GATE of the Well of the Living One My Seer

And Isaac had come from the GATE of the Well of the Living One MySeer

In this instance, the DOOR orBA or framework through which the Son ofAB (the

father: in this instance, Abraham) passes, is INCLUSIVE of that path or passage

from inside to outside the Well wall and gate. In other words, BA is translated

into a past action or a verb used in a past tense. Cf. the Hebrew in: Numbers

    4:30,35,39,43; 2 Chronicles 31:16, Ezekiel 46:9.

In regard to Christ, He must be understood in the context of Isaac in Genesis 24:62.

Christ comes from Heaven, and passes from within the literal Spiritual area called

the Bosom of the Father (John 1:18); and it is by Christ alone that any access to

the G-D the Father (who is Spirit) granted, because access to G-D who is Spirit,

must also be by the unseen Spiritual (John 4:24) exclusively through ChristJesusthe L-RD, and Him alone (John 10:1,7; 1:18; 3:31-36).

This Greek word differs from the Hebrew counterpart ofBain this respect:

whereas hodosis inclusive of an entire journey from point A to its end-

destination of point B, the Hebraic Bais simply inclusive only of the immediate

path or road that leads to the end-destination of the door at point B. This is

because, technically, Bameans a path that traverse through a Door-way.

Because of this, most translators tend to utilize DeReK, the wide course orwide way, instead of the path that leads you to a specific end destination. Thistranslation easily contradicts both Jesus teachings and clear intent. Derek is like

arriving at a great metropolis, yet still having no clue how to locate a person living

there, and having no other address for the person whom you are seeking.

As forDeReK, I reject this translation as used by some Messianics of John 14:6,

because it neither fits the teachings or intent of Christ. Further, in Gematria, ba

is the ideal to what Christ teaches; natibwould be secondary. Even Mecillah,

the raised or exalted highway of Isaiah and John the Baptists usage, would still

be far more preferable in translating hodosin John 14:6, rather than using

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    9/26

DeReK: the wide course or way.

    Jesus said,

Enter you in the Strait Gate:

for wide is the gate, and broad is the Way that leads to destruction,

and many are they who go in thereat:

because the gate which leads to LIFE is Strait, and the Way is narrow,

and there are few who find it.

    (Matthew 7:13-14) KJV

The word that Jesus uses for broad, in Matthew 7:13, is euruchoros

() in the Greek. This word conveys the picture of a wide and vastlyopen countryside. Imagine yourself on a flat plain of a wilderness, and that your

360 degree field of vision is literally nothing but hundreds of miles of barren

wasteland. Furthermore, the only reason you dont see more barren land is because

it slopes out of view upon the horizons on all sides of you. This is the BroadWay ofeuruchoros, where you can choose any which and every way, whatever is

right in your own eyes, and still be assured of your own demise and destruction.

This is similar to the Hebraic Derek. For example, in Genesis 16:7s the Way to

Shur, and in Isaiah 9:1s the Way of the Sea, both use Derek after the sense

of a broadly sweeping plain or valley. In Exodus 13:17, even the entire land mass

and width of Sinai between the Mediterranean and Red Sea is implied in its use of

Derek. Christ, on the other hand, wishes to identify Himself and the way to Life

as narrow, pressed in, and constricted.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    10/26

The Course of the Mecillah(pronounce as mesilah)

The Voice of one crying in the Wilderness of the Desert:

Prepare you the Course -- the Route -- of YHVeH! [Course -Derek]Make His exalted and embanked Road straight! [Road -Mecillah]

    (Isaiah 40:3, translation mine)

The Hebraic Mecillahis likened to a levee wall along a riverbank. In Numbers

20:19, mecillahis used to the effect of being a high plain or plateau passage

between mountains in the border regions of Edom (cf. Numbers 20:23). In 2

Chronicles 9:11, mecillahis translated in English as steps in some

translations; however, the application should render it as a high or exalted way.

The word picture is of the (think boat) pier of algum trees in the outer Temple

Court, the which stretched from near the Eastern Gate to near the Beautiful Gate in

Solomons Temple. This pier, probably being only several feet high, was supposed

to be traversed only by the coming Messiah. We are called to the word picture of

such an exalted path in Proverbs 16:17, and to keep and maintain a higher code of

conduct. Yet, even as the thoughts and ways of GOD are higher than mans ways

(Isaiah 55:8-9), so also is His mecillah higher than ourmecillah. In the last

Days, we shall see that the Path of YHVeH lies across the spectrum of the heavens,

and that the war in Heaven will be fought along this road by the angelic beings

engaging in a Civil War in the visible heavens above (Judges 5:20, Revelation

    12:7a).

In Matthew 3:3,John the Baptist declared, in regards to the MecillahofYHVeH,

Straight make the paths of Him.

    (Literal translation from Greek)

John preached this at Bethabara on the Jordan River. Bethabara was the location

through which, in 1511 B.C., Joshua and the children of Israel entered into the

Promised Land. It was from here that, through the command of Joshua (i.e.

Jesus), that the waters rolled up and receded north (and back upon itself) past the

city of Adam. The Israelites then took memorial stones from the dry riverbed from

which the water receded, and placed them on the west bank of the Jordan, to make

this location as a place of remembrance (Joshua 3:15 - 4:9). These were stones that

were as though dead and buried: forgotten. They were lifted up out of an allegory

of being dead in trespasses and sins, and elevated into the Promised Land as

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    11/26

living stones that would ever be alive in remembrance to the Children of Israel,

generation after generation after generation. These stones, in and of themselves,

were not level and perfectly formed; but they brought forth into remembrance, into

the mind of the people, of He who is straight, or level and true (YaSHaR, of

Isaiah 40:3). These stones, in a living way, pointed the people to the

remembrance ofYHVeHtheir G-D and Deliverer through Joshua (who in the

    Greek is Jesus).

In respects to the teachings of Gematria and ofMecillahbeing straight and

true, or YaSHaR [Yod-Shin-Rosh] if we make the first letter (the yod, , which

represents G-Ds NAME), and make it last, following the Rosh [which means

"head"]; then we read of mans sinful nature as being -ShaRaY: of being hostile,

according to the reason of his head, and the exaltation of his own works of piety

first, so that his first concern is ever the desiring to take over and exercise

    dominion.

It is the call of G-Ds prophet, John the Baptist, to be straight, level, and true, in a

call to humility before our G-D and Savior. If we seek the Righteousness (the

Shin) --of YH (the Yod) -- before our own mind or Head (the Rosh): thenwe are givenSHiYR -- the ability to sing in our circumstances. But if we

place our own mind or head ahead ofYHand His Righteousness, the we end

up withRiYSH: a poverty of the soul. To which Jesus tells us to seek ye first

the Kingdom ofYHVeHand His Righteousness, that all the good that Hementions, might be added unto the one seeking such things as He mentions

(Matthew 6:33; cf. Matthew 5:3 ff.)

In fact, if we secure the mind which is like Christ and following G-Ds will, (the

Yod before the Rosh), then it seems natural that the fruit, which follows, is

righteousness (the Shin). Thus, YaReSH(even after the Gematriac test), means

that: righteousness. This, therefore, is the path of G-D -- theBA (the Way) which

leads on up to AB (the Father): it is through the means of the Cross, which is the

act of grace -mercy - and love by the person of YHVeH Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Christ is the only source to which reconciliation between Holy G-D and unholymankind can be made.

In Genesis 6:9, Noah is called a righteous (a "tsaddiq") man. This word is a

variant ofTsedaqah, which means to make straight. In Leviticus 19:15, we seeTsaddiq as the straightness of a scale (with the emphasis on the rod), and its ability

to weigh evenly and fairly in judgment for all, be they rich or poor, small or great.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    12/26

Thus, the implication of a narrowness along the lines of Matthew 7:13s stenos

as Messiah taught. In Leviticus 19:36, Tsaddiq is translated as honest(y)in the act of measuring, of being free from the predisposition to defraud ones

neighbor. In Psalm 145:17, we read ofYHVeHbeing Tsaddiq (strait and

righteous) in all His Ways, and loving to all He has made.

Jesus says in Matthew 7:13 that not only is the Way narrow, but its gate is as

narrow as the Way is. In other words, the Gate is also an end destination in itself,

as well as THE WAY. And what is the pules , this Gate or Door which is thetype that accesses to a kingdom or dominion, not being a common door as thurais in the Greek? This DOOR orpules is YHVeHMessiah Himself, its width is

the width of his body, arms outstretched wide, and its height is that of the Cross on

    which he was hung.

Why is all this so important, you might ask? The revelation of the DOOR as Christis so important, that the Pharisees killed James, the half-brother of Christ, after

telling him to address the Passover crowds and explain what is meant by it, and

upon seeing that conversions over to Christ were taking place (Eusebius, History of

    the Church, 2.23).

If it is important enough to martyr a man in the process of converting multitudes on

a single short analysis, then how important do you think it should be to us to

examine, even in our own day? May you trust in Christ Jesus as YOUR L-RD and

Savior today, and accept his gift of eternal life in the world to come freely. Peace.

    Amen.

    Christ: The Door of the BA {WAY}

    And Jesus said,

He that enters not by the DOOR into the sheepfold,

but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

I am the DOOR of the sheep. I am the DOOR:

    by Me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved;

and shall go in and out, and find pasture.(John 10:1,7b,9) KJV

The Hebrew word used for DOOR, as used above in the tenth chapter of Johns

Gospel, would bePeTaCH. In Gematria,PeTaCHholds a value of 488. This is the

GATE or Destination Entrance-Way ofBA. In the 488 equivalent of

BeTHULiYM, we find that this entrance is being forthose who have been

separated or set apart, and are, through Christs perfect work of the Cross, made

virgins. These attain the purity of theBA itself -- and since Christ Jesus is the

BA, who is the Image of the Father -- then we see that, it is through the Son, that

we attain a righteousness and purity that is beyond ourselves that makes us

acceptable to G-D the Father. This is G-Ds grace toward us, unmerited/unearned

by us, being the gift of G-D, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Ephesians

    2:8-9).

PeTaCHis also Gematrically synonymous (after the value of 488) with

CHeTHLoN, which means - to wrap or envelop.

Chethlon is describable in three word pictures to this effect. In the first word

picture, we have someone who is enwrapped by clean bandages, such as the

victim on the road to Jericho, who is aided and treated by the Good Samaritan

(Luke 10:30-34). The Good Samaritan pours oil and wine into the victims

wounds, and then enwraps them with fresh and clean linen.

In the second word picture ofCHeTHLoN, we see the encircling or enwrapping

of a protective pen that was used by sheepherders for the protection of their sheep

in ancient Israel. By day, they were led out to graze in the fields. By night, the

sheep were herded into a walled corral, providing them a defense from predators.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    14/26

In the third word picture ofCHeTHLoN, we are given the illustration of a mother

hen gathering her chicks under her wings to protect them from the elements of cold

    and rain.

It is through the DOOR, through thePeTaCHin the person of Jesus Christ, that we

have hope of a right relationship with G-D, and hope of a snatching away from

Judgment (being the hopes and aspirations of the doctrine of the Rapture).

For the next synonym ofPeTaCH after its Gematriac (i.e. numerical parallel door)

synonym of 488, is CHaTHaPH - that or he which clutches and snatches,

taking away. Thus, Jesus, our DOOR, after the mystery of the Hebrew, shows

that He is the Messiah who will also snatch that which is His away, like a thief in

the night, before the Great Judgment upon the earth comes (cf. Luke 12:35-40, IThessalonians 5:2-7).

It is at the DOOR that we see the stripes and the Cross of Yeshua our Messiah. In

the PeTaCH we see the suffering Messiah, who after the Gematriac synonym of

488 suffers for us:MeCHoLaTHiYthe grief or affliction of YH. The word

affliction can be translated for us as Tribulation, trials, great Testing, or

Judgment. Christ bore for us our trials and tribulations by going to the Cross for

us, being whipped and beaten, and dying for us on our behalf when he wasperfectly blameless and guiltless from all sins. Because of this, we can -- through

Christ and His perfect work at the Cross, by trusting into Him, being baptized (in

effect) by our Faith into Him -- be delivered from the Tribulation that is coming

upon the Earth (Revelation 3:10; cf. Romans 6:3-10, Matthew 22:30-32).

In the DOOR, we also see, after the Gematriac synonym, thePiTuaCH: the

carved work. In YHVeHMessiah,PiTuaCHcould refer to the flog marks on

His beaten body, or the piercings in His hands and feet and side. In the New

Jerusalem, the work of the Cross and the sufferings are also represented by the

Gates of Pearl (Revelation 21:10-21). The Gates are like tunnels, with a length of

144 cubits or ca. 216 feet. This length will probably be the distance between the

site of the Crucifixion (at the Kidron/Hinom juncture) and the Garden Tomb, into

which Christ was temporarily buried -- until He rose from the dead 3 days later.

The pearl, as you may know, is that which is made by the agitation of the oyster by

the grains of the sea. By much affliction or tribulation, that which agitates is made

beautiful. Even so, it may be said of mankind in relation to YHVeHMessiah, who

foreknew and foretold this, as Jacobs prayer to YHVeHdemonstrates in Genesis

    32:12.

To the believer, PeTaCHis reckoned as an OPEN DOOR. To the unbeliever, it is

shut or closed until they reach out to trust into the DOOR, YHVeHMessiah,

For whosoever shall call out upon, and invoke or invite

the NAME of the L-RD, shall be saved.

    (Romans 10:13, Joel 2:32 - Translation mine).

His NAME, to the Gentiles, is Jesus; but to the Israelites, He is Yeshua:

Salvation. He is the same YHVeHinto whom father Abraham trusted.

Abrahams father was Terah, which is Aramaic for a gate ordoor. Abraham

left the gate of his father and of his old self in Haran, crossed over to enter into the

gate or door ofYHVeH, and became a new Creation in G-D.

    A Closer Look at BA

No man comes up to theAB (Father) except through Me.,says Jesus.

The letterBeth also means house in Hebrew, as well as being a letter. In these

two letters, we may Gematrically read as either G-Ds House (Alef - Beth), or as

the House of G-D (Beth-Alef). In either case, the substance of the Way is the

same and of equal quality. In effect, Alef-Beth holds a greater distinction than

Beth-Alef (John 14:28), but they are equal in substance, being ONE (John 10:30).

In the Hebrew, we read BA as . This word, Gematrically, points us toward thedoctrine of the Oneness and the Trinity of GOD.BA is ONE word, consisting of

TWO letters, having a value of THREE. InBA, we have the first two letters of the

Hebrew alphabet, whose path is revealed, even as Jesus said,

and many shall inherit eternal life.

Then shall be: the first last, and the last(ones be) first.

    (Matthew 19:29-30 - translation mine)

When we reverseBA, we read in the Hebrew,AB: (The) Father. The first letter of

    AB is called an Alef.

    Alef stands numerically as 1.

Alef also stands as the abbreviated form for G-D inEl, Eloah, andElohim.

Alef, as one (via the word ehad) is also one of the Names of G-D, as it is

    written,

Hear, listen, and be obedient, O Israel,YHVeH our GOD -- YHVeH is ONE!

    (Deuteronomy 6:4 - translation mine)

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    17/26

And it is (to be) said, IN THAT DAY,

    YHVeH will be King over all the Earth (and all that therein is);

YHVeH shall be ONE(united), and His NAME: ONE !

    (Zechariah 14:9 - translation mine)

How is this possible? How does YHVeH = 1? Through the Alef: The rabbisgive YHVeH(spelled as Yod-He-Vav-He) a Gematriac value of 26.

Yod holds a value of 10.

    EachHeholds a value of 5.

The Vavholds a value of 6.

    Thus, Yod(10) +He (5) + Vav (6) + He (5) = 26.

Thus, YHVeH/ Jehovah / L-RD has a Hebraic value of 26. This same value is

found in the subdivision of Alef.

The explanation of how the rabbis view Alefsubdivided, is that it is 1 unified

letter which is actually composed of 3 letters. A Yod in the upper right handcorner (a value of 10); a Vav as the middle line or stroke (a value of 6); and a

Yod in the lower left hand corner (a value of 10).

Thus, even in their denial of Trinity as a Christian doctrine, they yet know

and teach Trinity and the fundamental of the Trinity as ONE UNITED IN

COMPLEX UNITY in the Letter Alef, the Letter of G-D.

Thus, Alef being revealed as though it were 10 + 6 + 10, equaling a value of 26;and fulfilling the scriptures of Deuteronomy 6:4 and Zechariah 14:9.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    18/26

Now, if we subdivided the Alef as being only two letters,

we would have a Yod , and either an upside down or backward Ayin .

Ayin is an artesian well that continually gushed forth waters. Thus, we may

interpret the Ayin as being symbolic of Living Waters. To which, in the days

    of Jeremiah the prophet, YHVeHwarned,

My people have committed two evils:

    they have forsaken Me,

    the mountain-artesian-well-spring -Fountain of Living Waters;

(and they have done so) to hew out cisterns,

broken cisterns, that cannot hold water.

    (Jeremiah 2:13 translation mine)

The Hope of Israel, YHVeH : all who forsake You shall be ashamed.

Those who depart from Me shall be written in the Earth,

    [cf. John 8:1-9]

    because they have forsaken YHVeH:

    the mountain-artesian-well-spring-Fountain of Living Waters.

    (Jeremiah 17:13 translation mine)

Christ Jesus is our source of those Living Waters. The River of Life comes from

the Throne ofYHVeHin Ezekiel 47:1-12. This River of Life is further defined as

the Throne of G-D the Father and the Lamb in Revelation 22:1-2. Finally, in John

7:37-38, Jesus reveals that He is the Source of the Living Waters of the coming

Kingdom and of the New Jerusalem, for out of His innermost hollow shall flow

rivers of Living Water. This appears to indicate that it shall flow out from His heart

and through the hole in His side, through which He was pierced (cf. John 19:34).

The word used for fountain in Jeremiah 2:13 and 17:13 is maqor. We are

called, in Isaiah 12:3, to draw the waters out of the maqorof Salvation (or

Jesus) with joy. So let us draw a little more from Christ or the BA. If we read

BA after the subdivision ofAlefin two parts, we may read either the phonetic

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    19/26

rendering ofBaY-Ah : a doorway; or the means by which we attain passage

    throughBEiY{Beth-Ayin-Yod}: through prayer.

If we further subdivide the Alef to its full division of three letters, we may read

how that BAbecomes the Hebrew wordBiY-VaY{Beth-Yod-Vav-Yod} : at therequest of, by the permission or leave of. Thus, it is only through Jesus that

we attain permission and gain access to GODs House of Heaven, and to the

    Father.

If we were to raise the Alefby 90 degrees,

so that the Vav would stand as a vertical,

    we will see Christ crucified.

His right wrist being nailed palm up,

His left wrist being nailed palm down.

YHVeHMessiahs left side, being the exposed side to be pierced by the spear. This

position was itself causing His bones (to be) out of joint (Psalm 22:14).

The left wrist, the same wrist that is ritually bound by the Tefillin by ultra-

Orthodox men 6 days a week (minus high holidays and Sabbath), is wrapped by

leather straps so as to ritually form the word Shaddai(Almighty). The weak

arm wrapped and encircled by that which has been killed (i.e., the Messiah)

represents the symbolism of Messiah upon the people and nation of Israel.

The right hand, elbow down, represents the Messiah as YHVeH, the Right Hand

of Power (Matthew 26:64), who -- as its governor --carries the nations of the Earth(Psalm 22:27-28; Isaiah 40:15).

Thus, John 14:6 encodes for us a study of the Theology of the Cross in the Hebrew

that He shared with Israel. It now passes to we of the Gentiles (we of the

Nations) to share it back with them, and amongst the saints among ourselves.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    20/26

Jesus said: I am the Truth

In the Hebrew, the word for Truth (oraleitheiain the Greek of John 14:6), is

EMeT. The letter Mem in Gematria, stands forwaters orpeoples. Theletter Tav stands for a sign or the end of something. Interestingly, on

Hebrew coins dating from centuries before to during the time of Christ, Tav was

actually written with either an X or a type of Cross .

If we subdivideAleffromEmet, in Gematria we read Alef - MeT or ofG-Ds

Death. Some may wish to Gematrically translate Alef as "One", but Alef is

indeed used both as an abbreviate of G-D and of the NAME of G-D as "One"

(Zechariah 14:9 with Deuteronomy 6:4). So in the context ofAlef MeTas "G-D's

Death", G-D is He who, if divided from the people, sees the letters of theMem

    and the Tav joined together.

In Gematriac translation,Mem and Tav joined can be translated prophetically as

the people who come to an end or finality.

AsMeT, those who carried their wages of the Cross or with the Tav, could be said

to have borne about with them and trusted in the wages of the Cross, the wages of

the symbolism of Deathhence, as if they carried about the wages of death in

Pauls visual examples to the Churches (perhaps).

Faith in King Messiah is separate from faith in the system of Mamon or wealth in

this world, which was called Mamlakutu (Mem - Mem - Lamed - Kaf - Tav -

Vav), before thereafter the world system was oft called Babylon (et al.).

Babel means, confusion. The idea of what wealth is, in lands or possessions,

or the credit system to purchase those possessions and land, is called Mamon.

The alternate reality man has built, his society, and civilization, is founded on a

common illusion. Failure to abide by that system ofBabel-- known as Babylon,

an ever-evolving religious order on the worship of Mamon, -- means persecution -

privation - and death. In our day, what is the mamlakutu of the vanity that G-D

    hates...that riches equal righteousness.

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    21/26

The two mems , as according to the Hebraic art of Gematriac analysis,

represent the peoples pressing together to enter this kingdom being established

by Babel (cf. Hebrew of Genesis 10:10). It is as the masses of the humanity fill

the broad way, the euruchoros of which Christ alludes (Matthew 7:13), inwhich a wide open countryside, as vast as far as the eye can see. The broad way is

where everyone is free to travel, to sit, to move, or to pursue which ever way is

right in their own eyes. These are they, the multitudes, who ignore GODs call for

travel on the pressing and narrow path, prefer the wide path or broad way to attain

their own salvation. They despise GODs Voice, and curse and gnash their teeth.

The Lamed tells us that they are learning that this way of life is both to be

desired and acceptable. It is not a natural instinct that is inherited in their genes, they must learn the error of the religion ofMamon.

The Kaf tells us what they are learning: of how to oppress and suppress one

another with the palm, and of violence.

The Tav informs us that this kingdom is believed into as if it were an

    everlasting institution.

The Vav informs us that the desires of this kingdom hold a hook into those

believing into it. They are like fish whose mouth is caught with a hook and line, or

are limited to swim within the confines of a net by the sin nature: they are become

as slaves and as captives to it.

We are called, then, by the very nature and institution of "religion", not to place

our value in a stock of wood -- but upon Christ Jesus whom was "on" that stock of

    wood.

In Christianity, we look upon the Cross --or rather, upon Christ, more precious

than a whole universe of diamonds and gold, who was nailed into the tree or

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    22/26

wood -- and we place our most esteemed value upon Christ, who is our Life (or

should we say, "lives"), our most-extreme end, and our justification for living.

In returning to the Hebrew word MeT, ordeath, if we separate the people

from the Tav (or final end, so as to give them eternity or eternal life), and readMeT as Mem-Tav according to Gematriac allowancesthe letters Mem followed

by Tav, according to the use of a Hebrew Cross as a letter for Tav on some ancient

(such as Herodian Era) Hebrew coins could then be translated so as to read in one

    translation as:

the people who come to the Cross.

This imagery brings alive the hypocrisy of the select Jewish leaders who

demanded an autonomy separate from Rome, but were challenging Jesus witha Roman (instead of Hebrew) coin and superscription in Matthew 22:15-22.

Had they done so with a Hebrew coin, we are left to wonder what Jesus'

    answer would have been,

and must save that question for the Kingdom (Deuteronomy 33:3, Isaiah 54:13).

But if G-D, through theAlef, joins Himself to the people, He does so by bringing

an end or finality to sin through the Cross. He becomes their Moshiach and

Messhiach. He is their deliverer, their Savior, their TRUTH. Therefore, by

taking the Name of EMeT or Truth upon Himself, YHVeH Messiah is signifying

that in order to deliver mankind, He must somehow die in the process of doing so.

Now if we reverse our reading ofEMeT , we find that Truth now

becomes TeMA: which means, to be made complete.

Even as YHVeHMessiah teaches, we may be reminded,

If you continue in My word,(then) are ye My disciples indeed:

And ye shall know the TRUTH,[you shall be made complete]

and the TRUTH shall make you free.

    (John 8:31-32) KJV

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    23/26

Therefore, as ourEMeT, our TRUTH of the Mem (the peoples), Christ can

boldly proclaim that He is the Alef and the Tav , the First and the Last(Revelation 1:11,17; Isaiah 41:4,44:6, 48:12 ...even as Alef and Tav are the first

and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet and inEMeT). AsAlef, He is our G-D; and

as Tav, He is our final ending -- and this, with all accuracy and fidelity to His

    Scriptures.

Reversed, the last and first letters spell TAw in the Hebrew. Taw means a

room, chamber, or sanctuary. Therefore, if in EMeT (Truth) Christ becomes a

Taw of the Mem - what is being said, Gematrically speaking, is that Christ is

also become a Sanctuary of the peoples.

    Of this,

A Tower of Strength is the Name of YHVeH,

the Righteous run into it, and are exalted on high (to safety).

    (Proverbs 18:10, translation mine)

The L-RD [in Hebrew - YHVeH]

also thundered in the heavens, the Highest gave His Voice

He sent from above, He took me,

He drew me out of many waters

    He brought me forth into a Large Place;

He delivered me, because He delighted in me.

    (Psalm 18:13,16,19) KJV

Now, to this effect, we see the fulfillment of the promise of Messiah in John 12:26,

    If any man serve Me, let him follow Me;

and where I am, there shall also My servant be.KJV

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    24/26

And Jesus said: I am the Life

In the Greek, the word for life is Zoe (). This word speaks of a living

existence. In the Hebrew, this kind of life is usually written after the plural as

CHaYYiM, because (say the rabbis) we are not just given one life to live by the

Almighty, but two: the one in this life and world, and the other in the world and

life to come. The singular life is simple written as CHaY. If we separate the letter

Mem from CHaYYiM, and read it as two words ChaYaY - Mem, we read: to

revive the people, to save the lives of the people. In the very simple words of

Messiah, we see His Deity, His Mission, His Purpose, all in three little words

contained within John 14:6 -- Way, Truth, Life. Its all wrapped up in a neat little

package for us to unwrap and discover.

If we separate one Yod from CHaYYiM, and shuffle the letters, we can read it asY(H) YaCHaM- which means YH will conceive (and give birth to), and YH

will be hot. It is in GODs very nature to promote and perpetuate Life, not

death. This is the message behind John 14:6 and 3:16 and other passages.

So the question remains, as we remember the Cross and read the Hebrew of John

14:6s Way, Truth, and Life backwards:

Me-YaCH TeMA AB? Who is to be made complete in the Father?

Will we search for the True Reality oraleitheia?

In the Greek, aleitheia is the true reality as things and events really are, not

as they may or may not necessarily be perceived as being.

Aleitheia is that true reality that finds its sense of purpose in being exalted and not

hidden. In effect, like the wind, Truth is often a living - breathing - moving thing,

intangible, ever present, and ever real.Aleitheia is a presence that must always be

dealt with, whether one wishes to perceive it or escape it (be it through drug

induced stupors or mental illness or unconsciousness).

In the Scriptures, Truth is perceived and revealed in the knowledge of the glory of

    YHVeH: as it is written,

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    25/26

"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of knowing the glory

and abundant weighty majesty ofYHVeH, (even) as the waters cover the sea.

    (Isaiah 11:9; Habakkuk 2:14 - translation mine).

G-Ds glory is compared to the great weight of the waters of the sea upon the landbelow it. In some place shallow, in some places very deep. Water, as we know, is

often layer upon layer upon layer in thickness, movement, temperature, and

teeming with life. G-Ds glory will be so abundant, that we will seem to be like the

fish of the sea, swimming endlessly in the knowledge of knowing His glorious

abundant and weighty majesty in joy unspeakable. The exploration of knowledge

of the Glory of G-D will seem, and for us "be endless".

Revelations and insights such as these are often hard to convey when unbeliefblocks the way. The apostle Paul wrestles with the concept of discovering G-D's

revealed TRUTH to man in his letter to the Ephesians, which he wrote, in part,

verifying and bringing up, in part of Johns 53 A.D. Apocalypse to the very

Churches over whom John the Apostle resided, saying,

"To me, the least of all the saints, was this grace given:

to preach the Gospel in the nations,

(which are) the unexplored riches of Christ, and to bring to light all of what is

the fellowship of the mystery -- having been hidden from eternity in GOD --

all things having been created through Jesus Christ,

so that now it might be made known to rulers and to the authorities

in the heavenlies through the Church:

the much diversified and multi-colored wisdom of GOD." [cf. Rev. 21:14, 19-21]

    (Ephesians 3:8-10) translation mine

So it is, that the Truth or the Truer Reality of what really is, is not made known

or transparent to man; but rather, must somehow be revealed. Paul explains this

possibility as that of the Flesh or Physical state of man, warring or being in

constant conflict with the Spirit (the intangible and unseen identity) of man:

Galatians 5:17, Ephesians 1:17-18, Galatians 5:16. And he does so in a way that

recognizes an early dating of Revelation.

YHVeHYeshua recognized the fact of man's blindness and deafness toAleitheia,

  • 8/9/2019 John 14 Verse 6 and the Theology of the Cross Found With in It

    26/26

when He said, "I thank thee, O Father, LORD of Heaven and Earth,

because thou hast hid these things[theAleitheia]

    from the wise and prudent,

and hast revealed them unto babes.

Even so, Father: for it so seemed good in Thy sight."(Matthew 11:25-26) KJV

So, what is this TRUTH? This Truer Reality to which man is oft made unaware?

Jesus answered that in the next verse in Matthew 11:27, that:

"All things are delivered unto Me of My Father:

and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father:

neither knoweth any man the Father, except the Son,and to whomsoever the Son will reveal."

    KJV

It is my hope that the importance of the truth and true reality of the Cross be made

manifest to you in ways far beyond my comprehension, and bless you in the

wisdom of knowledge and understanding, unto eternal life in and through Jesus

Christ, our L-RD. And that, in G-Ds appointed Time for Wrath upon the Earth, if

you should be living upon it, that you should believe into YHVeHMessiah, that

you might be caught up -- out of the way, in the Coming Deliverance through the

Raptures of the Church. The Raptures are geared to two manifestations of

evacuations, to deliver those who trust in Messiah, still in their mortal bodies --

living upon the Earth -- who do not wish to pass through the Wrath that is coming

    upon the whole earth.

Everyone who prays the L-RDs prayer confesses this desire for deliverance,

    whether knowing or unknowingly.

May you believe into Jesus, and find deliverances both now, and eternal life

in the world and ages to come. Amen and Amen.
