There are still lots available for purchase within our cemetery. We offer time payment plans and also accept credit cards. If your family has a lot in St.
Denis but the lot has not been used in years, there may still be space available for future burials.

Mercy Hospice Casseroles
Please join us in feeding women and children in need. Prepare, freeze and label a casserole meal to be dropped off at the Fun Fair Kitchen. The next drop off is WWednesday, July 18 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Other items such as frozen vegetables, coffee, cookies, juice, etc. are welcome. HHaver-Italian Festival Coming In October Kelly Music for Life, in cooperation with St. Denis
Parish in Havertown will present the HAVER-TALIAN festival October 13, 2018 on the school grounds on Eagle Road. The event will feature live music, crafts,
children’s activities and of course, Italian cuisine! Proceeds benefit St. Denis Parish and the
Kelly Center for Music, Arts and Community coming to Havertown in the Fall of 2018.

Parish Religious Education Program for September 2018
Students who will be entering St. Denis Parish Religious Education Program for the first time in September 2018 are invited to visit the parish website www.saintdenis.org for Registration Forms, or call the Parish Office at 610-446-0200 for more information. We offer 2 sessions for students in grades 1 through 6, so you may select which is most convenient for your family:
~Monday afternoon 4:45-6:00pm or MMonday evening 6:45-8:00pm ~ JJunior High program for grades 77 & 8 two Mondays a month from 6:45-8:00pm
St. Denis Parish requires a minimum of 2 years of Religious Education before the reception of Reconciliation & First Communion and an additional 5 years of Religious Education before reception of Confirmation in 7th grade.

Smart Money News For the summer smart money sales are
Thursdays 9:30-10:30 Sundays 9-11:30 in the Parish Office.
There are a few Thursdays & Sunday's mostly in late July & August with no seller at this time.
If there is no volunteer, smart money will not be sold.
Speaker Next Weekend
The second collection next weekend is for the African missions of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart. The
Brothers, through their representative Brother Lucien Blain, SC, are asking for your prayers and financial support. The Brothers of the Sacred Heart are reli-
gious educators who staff schools and other establish-ments in over thirty countries. Your contributions will
especially benefit young men who are preparing to enter religious life and needy students in the African countries of Kenya, Lesotho, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We ask that you please be generous.
Cardinal Foley School News SUMMER OFFICE HOURS
Our summer office hours during the month of June are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to Noon. During the month of July the office will be opened Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to Noon.
The office will be closed from Monday, July 30 until Wednesday, August 15. The office will reopen on Thursday, August 16.

For many years, St. Denis Parish has offered a program on the parish level that the Archdiocese introduced some time ago called the “Sponsor-A-Student” program. This program is an appeal to the entire parish community to help provide a Catholic Education for parents who desire it but who, because of financial struggles, are not able
to afford to send their child/children to Cardinal John Foley School.
While we have worked very hard in attempting to keep our tuition increases to a reasonable percentage, we still face substantial budgetary increases each year. We share this with you simply to show that just as your individual
household costs increases, so too our costs of operation increase at the same or a greater pace. All this confirms why your generosity is so very valuable to us to all of our families.
Our parish school, Cardinal John Foley School, offers a Catholic Education based on the core values of: Faith, Mercy, Integrity, Cooperation and Respect. These values, so basic to good Christian living, permeate the
education our children receive. Through this “Sponsor-A-Student” fund, our parish can offer that wonderful education to others for whom that might not have been a possibility.
Good things are meant to be shared, good news is meant to be proclaimed, and we are called to be bearers of
that Good News. Please consider the possibility of sharing in the special ministry of Catholic Education here at St. Denis Parish by contributing to the “Sponsor-A-Student” fund. Your efforts today help support our Catholic
students to become good Catholic adults of tomorrow.
Checks can be made payable to “St. Denis Sponsor A Student Program” and dropped off to the Parish Office or
put in the collection basket.
