The responsibility is evangelism… I Peter 3:1 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives.
The Christian wife works with her Christian husband as a heroic warrior in the army of the Lord OR she valiantly lives to bring her unbelieving husband to Christ
This is where Peter is going – we are one – but we are not all the same.
Be reminded – Peter’s motive in writing is to encourage Christians suffering in a non or anti-Christian world to exhibit faithfulness and bear witness to Christ.
I Peter 3:15 “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
