The Derwent Valley AAP will be hosting a Party in the Park event onSunday 20th July 2014 between 12pm – 6pm and everyone iswelcome to come along and join the party!

This FREE family event will play host to a number of bands including The Dust TownDogs, Accidental Damage, Jazz in my Pants, Metal Militia, Motion Tourist, 9T’s,Crime Scene, The Northern Federation, The Rag Pickers and Funky Style Brass.

Local community groups and individual musicians will also be providingentertainment throughout the day including Liam Carr, Chris Justice, ConsettPhoenix Youth, Spotlight Community Theatre Productions, Jane Robson School ofDance, Act on Theatre Group, Phillipa Reed School of Dance and React YouthTheatre Group (more to be announced!).

We are encouraging families to come along with a picnic to enjoy the afternoonlistening to the live music, browsing the information stalls, getting your faces paintedand challenging yourselves on the climbing wall and bungee trampolines! Otheractivities will also be available which may incur a small charge.

Refreshments can be purchased at the event and there will be a healthy barbecueavailable for those of you who want to try something different for Sunday lunch!
