It’s Time to It’s Time to It’s Time to It’s Time to ‘Re‘Re‘Re‘Re----Up’! Up’! Up’! Up’!

All Chamber Members should receive their 2017 Membership

Invoices soon. As you're making your 2017 budgets, please remember to

include your MRACC membership dues! Dues are not going up this year. If you joined mid-way through the year, your invoice will be pro-rated for 2017.

Why Renew?Why Renew?Why Renew?Why Renew?

1. Credibility. Chamber membership conveys cred-ibility to your customers. According to a study by the American Chamber of Commerce, when consumers know that a business is a member of the chamber of commerce, they are 44% more likely to think favorably of it and 63% more likely to purchase goods or services from the company in the future.

2. Network for your business. Being a Chamber member can open the door to many contacts that can help your business grow through referrals and networking. Remember though, you have to participate to get this benefit! Attend The 4’Cs, Women in Business, After-Hours, Monthly Luncheons and more to get the most out of your membership.

3. Business referrals. The Chamber of Commerce receives emails and inquiries from resi-dents and visitors frequently. The Chamber recommends its members first when responding to inquiries.

4. Low-cost advertising opportunities. Our Chamber offers a wide range of free or affordable advertising options, such as mass emails, newsletter advertising, word of mouth at our many events, and the President’s Club.

5. It helps your community. The Chamber not only exists for business, but to better our community. Your membership dollars help us sponsor community events, such as Clean Up Days, Night Out Against Crime, the Annual Community Breakfast, and more. We also stay in contact with our local government to see that Madison’s needs are being met.

6. Skills and Service. The Chamber wants to help businesses members gain skills to carry with them back to their businesses and out into the community. Guest speakers and seminars, such as our recent LinkedIn workshop, offer tricks of the trade to help you and your business grow and prosper. We also help you build your personal and professional experience through serving in roles within the chamber and throughout the community.

7. Government Advocacy. The Chamber advocates for members by monitoring local issues to let them know what may affect their businesses and the community.

8. It’s 100% tax-deductible. Since your membership allows you to promote your busi-ness, your dues are tax-deductible!

9. Opportunity to join the President’s Club. This is not only a great way to plan your sponsorship budget, but to market your business all year long! The application is on the following page.
