Una nuova collezione simbolo della rivoluzione di Mosaico+, una proposta che supera la modularità della tessera e la sua ripetitività sulla super�cie grazie alla possibilità di sezionare ogni singolo elemento in 5 modi diversi.

In Jointed la tessera di 5x5 cm viene infatti incisa con un segno gra�co, che permette di de�nire 5 diverse tipologie di decoro. La composizione casuale di ognuna delle tessere sezionate, trasforma il gesto semplice in una super�cie complessa, che varia al variare della posa dei fogli, che può essere realizzata con uno schema ripetuto oppure secondo una disposizione casuale.

A new collection that symbolizes the Mosaico+ revolution, superseding the modularity of the mosaic chip and its repetition across the surface through the potential for breaking down every single element in 5 different ways.

In Jointed, the 5×5 cm chip is engraved with a graphic motif providing the basis for 5 different types of decoration. The random composition of each of the subdivided chips transforms the simple surface into a complex array, varying depending on the way the sheets are installed, which may be repetitive or in a random layout.

Mosaico in vetro cattedrale ottenuto da lastre di grandi dimensioni – di spessore variabile di 2-3 mm – create attraverso la tra�lazione di vetro e smalti. Jointed è un

mosaico fatto di tessere tagliate a mano con strumenti a punta diamantata e successivamente montate su rete in �bra di vetro a formare fogli di dimensioni 308x308 mm. Il taglio della tessera, del tutto artigianale, produce spigoli netti e vivi. Jointed può essere colorato con tinte piene e piatte o avere una super�cie venata*. Jointed è disponibile in cinque layout.

Vitreous mosaic of stained-glass, obtained from voluminous slabs – 2-3 mm thick – made through a process of extrusion of glass and enamels. Jointed is a mosaic made of chips that are hand-cut with a diamond cut accessory and then mounted on glass fibre mesh to form sheets of 308x308 mm. The cutting process is handmade and produces sharp edges. Jointed can display a full color or a veined effect*. Jointed is available in five layouts.colors for a more eccentric, trendy composition.

Per il taglio del vetro cattedrale utilizzare un diamante da vetro (il materiale si romperà facilmente in corrispondenza dell’incisione). In alternativa usare un disco diamantato a corona continua. Per ambienti dove ci possa essere il contatto diretto con il mosaico (doccia, piscine, bagni turchi…) è consigliabile arrotondare gli spigoli del mosaico attraverso un processo di ricottura del vetro. To cut the stained glass, please use a diamond: the glass will easily break in correspondence of the incision. Alternatively, please use a continuous crown diamond disc. For those environments that imply a direct contact with the product - such as showers, swimming pools and spas – we suggest smoothing the edges of the mosaic through an annealing process. For further information please contact the technical office. will snap easly along the lines scored whit the diamond tool. If a diamond tool is not available, mosaic cutting pliers can be used.

Diamond goes beyond the concept of patterns to inhabit space itself. It is a completely innovative, pure line in spite of the way it references the history of leaded mosaic windows made from glass that refracts the light, creating shapes that dance.

Diamond is the collection that evokes the architecture of places of worship, with cathedral glass with vein patterns steeped in history, and references modern architecture with the Art Deco of the Chrysler Building by William Van Alen and the pure geometry of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Diamond is first and foremost grout, the central factor in the decorative module. The grout creates a pattern that moves through the sheets of glass and guides the eye over algorithmic shapes.

The Diamond mosaic is produced in bright, luminous, artistic cathedral glass, thinner than sanded glass. This artistic glass can be coloured with full tone and plain hues or can have a shaded and veined appearance.

The unusual design allows the use of grouts in tone-on-tone shades for a refined effect, or in contrasting colours for a more eccentric, trendy composition.

Diamond va oltre al concetto di pattern per abitare gli spazi. È una linea completamente innovativa e pura nonostante le sue citazioni alla storia di vetrate in mosaico stagnato realizzate con un vetro capace di far muovere le forme attraverso la rifrangenza della luce.

Diamond è la collezione con rimandi all’architettura sacra, con il vetro Cattedrale dalle venature dense di storia del Medioevo e a rimandi di architettura Moderna dell’Art Decò del Chrysler Building di William Van Alen e dalle geometrie pure di Frank Lloyd Wright.

Diamond è soprattutto fuga, vera protagonista del decoro. La fuga crea il disegno scorrendo tra le lastre di vetro e accompagnando lo sguardo tra le forme algoritmiche.

Il mosaico Diamond è realizzato in vetro cattedrale artistico, un materiale che si caratterizza per la sua brillantezza e luminosità, più sottile rispetto ad altri vetri. Il vetro artistico può essere colorato con tinte piene e piatte o avere una super�cie stonalizzata e venata.

Il design inusuale premette la stuccatura tono su tono per un effetto raf�nato o a contrasto per dare alla composizione un carattere più eccentrico e di tendenza.
