Before focusing his cartooning efforts on comics, Jonathan Todd served as an editorial cartoonist and illustrator for about a dozen newspapers that ranged from The Boston Globe and The (Syracuse, N.Y.) Post-Standard in the northern United States to The (Shreveport, La.) Times and The Tennessean in the southern U.S.
